Eli watched the scene unfold with a blank expression. After Fang walked away she gave a yawn and got to her paws, heading out of camp. If no other fighters were awake that she could train with, the fighter decided to sit outside and do guard duty until the moon-dog was active.
Eli padded down a bit of snow about half a mile from the camp, keeping her nose in the air and ready to catch any alarming scents. The large dog occasionally got up and ran a circle, performing a perimeter check. It was a bit cold, but she ran around often enough not to lose too much heat, plus she was bred not to be bothered by the frigid temperature. As snow flakes roosted in her pelt the dog thought. She knew she could probably beat the Beta in a fight, but didn't want to threaten her, and she was happy enough in her position. Eli shrugged the thought away, she would challenge the higher rankings only if she was positive she could win and her respect was quite large for the leaders of the pack, so she was in no mood to take her on - even if it meant a rank-up and being closer in position to Fang, who she couldn't find the time to talk to since he always seemed so busy and ready to snap a dog's head off. Her mind ran free as she sat in the bitter winds, but her nose was alert, and this made Guarding one of her favorite activities, because she had time to think.
