Daisy yipped in excitement and happily padded after her mother.

Abby smiled and began racing down the hill towards the river

Daisy giggled and raced down the hill. (WB)

Abby halted suddenly. The river had risen over night and was much bigger now

"What's wrong?" Daisy asked Abby.

[SnowStar77]

"Nothing. The river is just swollen so if you get in, be careful.." She warned walking up to the edge and lapping at the cool water

"Alright." Daisy said and leaned over to get a drink of water. She turned around and looked at Lavender and Scout. "Hey momma look! It's the dogs from the barn!" Daisy yipped.

Abby smiled. " yeah. That's lavender and scout." She said softly, finishing and looking at her.

"Oh okay." Daisy said and continued to get more to drink. (WB)

Abby leapt into the shallows of the river. The current was strong but the water was clear.
