Bird woke as rays of sun slanted into the den. She slowly stretched and got to her feet. She ran her tongue quickly over her fur that was sticking up and padded out of the den. Today looks like a good day, she thought with a yawn. She looked around in surprise- no one else was up yet. She shrugged to herself. She didn't mind being alone at times. She sat in the sun for a bit, just warming up. The rising sun sparkled off her tan and white fur and made it look gold and silver.
