You seem keen to join so I will let you, the reason I put it like that is because I don't want a massive group. So just read the first and second posts then register. Then skim through the story so far. At the moment we are swimming with our horses at the lake, so we will find a way to merge you in :D}

Ella called out to Avalon "Use one of the ropes to tie up midnight- her bridle might snap if she spooks." Ella checked her waterproof watch. It was 5pm- the stables closed at 6, so they had to leave soon so they had enough time to turn their horses out for the day. She spent the rest of her time swimming, riding Ace and lying on the gelding's back in the pure, clear water.

{So, at the end of the day we turn our horses out and go home, and I will publish a post saying the day, the weather and the season and any other specific things happening that day.}

Ella led Ace into the deeper water so she could mount easily. She then rode him out of the lake, picking up the reins. "We should go now" Ella called out. "We will take a side route through a trail we can gallop on, but then we have to go back and let our horses out."

Name: Tybalt 'Ty' Alex Jackson
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Personality: Ty is a fairly easy-going kind of guy. He's sarcastic, sometimes arrogant, he talks back and he jokes constantly. If his aim of reaching top level with his horses fails, He would like to go into a career in medicine or veterinary surgery, as he enjoys helping people and would like to walk in his father's footsteps, who was a talented surgeon. He does, however, have a darker side behind the humour, as you'll see in his history. He has a bit of a temper, and has been known to lash out when he's angry or upset. Despite his laid-back joking side, Ty is very serious around his horses, and works hard with them whenever possible. He, unlike some riders, doesn't just believe that working with the horses means riding them. If he's with a new horse he will spend all of his time with it, getting to know it better than he knows himself, learning all it's flaws and habits. He seems to have a knack with working with difficult or green horses, and he has been told he's a calm and gentle rider.
History: Born into a fairly wealthy family, up until the age of ten he got everything he wanted. His mum, had unfortunately died during childbirth, so his dad spoilt him rotten. However, his dad was killed in front of him. This made him retreat into himself, hiding his anger behind humour and sarcasm. He was taken into foster care, and lives fairly happily with them.
Role of the stables: Ride/Ranch Hand

Horse

Name: The Perfect Storm 'Storm'
Gender: Stallion
Coat Colour: Dapple Grey
Age: 7
Breed: Andalusian cross
Height: 15.3 hh
Personality: As his name suggests, this stallion is a handful. He'll buck, nap, half rear and bolt with you if he thinks you're not paying attention. Despite his flaws, if he knows that you know what you're doing, he'll generally cut you some slack. He's a talented jumper, who excels on the cross country course, but can be a little fast in the show-jumping ring. He doesn't have much time for dressage, and has been known to throw temper tantrums if he does a lot of it, so Ty schools him in short bursts. On the ground he's fairly affectionate, and has been known to enjoy cuddles.
History: He was an accident at an Andalusian breeding farm. One of the mares jumped her paddock and ended up in the field of an Irish Sports Horse stallion. The owners didn't realise until long into the pregnancy and there was nothing they could do about it. After he was weaned he was sold at auction cheap, where Ty bought him and trained him up.

[Yeah... I guess you got that from his name? I'm from the UK so I can't watch season 7, but I've seen up to season 6 on Netflix.]

Ty pulled into the yard car park, his trailer hitched to his black land rover. He parked the car, jumping out to unload Storm. He pulled down the ramp, slipping inside to untie Storm and lead him down and out. He led Storm quickly around the parking lot a couple of times, letting him stretch his legs after the long drive. The stallion was pretty fresh, and he tossed his head, prancing in the end of the leadrope. He halted him after walking over to the trailer, and pushed the ramp up again. He led Storm into the stallion yard, looking around to see if anyone was around. "Hello?" He called loudly.

Ella Cantered into the stables. She had seen the trailer arrive. "Ty?" she asked. "Im Ella. My mother owns the stables. There is also Avalon and Dakota, they are coming back later. Ella glanced over to the outdoor arena to see that the new jump wings and poles had arrived. "Oh no. The jump wings and equipment have arrived early!" she exclaimed as she jumped off Ace. "Do you mind helping me move them? Sorry, you haven't even started work today.." She rugged Ace and let him out into a nearby paddock.
