Dakota nodded I heard about that, I entered a month ago, I'm competing in A grade {1.15 meters and top dressage test, and i know what it is i do compete } that's why I've been working so hard with Ricochet to get him ready, I'm surprised you two hadn't asked why I was working so hard with him she murmured gently and listened to Ella that's kewl, I was going to jump 80 in the indoor jumping arena, it annoys me, I can't get Ricochet to practice over anything smaller, he refuses them or knocks the rails She sighed, wishing she could practice over smaller as it would help Ricochet balance more, but he refused the jumps and it wasn't worth getting hurt, she shrugged, I'm going to set up a grid, {A set of jumps organized for training specifcally} and i'll be jumping that, If you want I can set a grid up for ya too She murmured softly.

"I guess I will jump as high as you. No point in wasting the effort of setting up 2 sets." Stands up and goes to see ted. She puts her roller on, tightening the staps, Then she bridled him and put the reins over his head. She lead him to the round yard and attached his side reins. She decided not to use a longe line today. She reached out her long purple whip and got her horse walking around the arena. When he was fully warmed up she set up the jump so he would jump it each time he came around. "Can-ter!" She called, and Ted followed instantly. She watched him carefully, looking at the way he jumped and seeing if it reflected on her riding. When she was done she took Ted back and removed the roller and side reins. She saddled him up then called Avalon "Ready for our ride? I have to mix up feed, come see me once you've tacked up."
She makes her was to the feed room and begins mixing feed for her horse and many other boarding horses.

Dakota shrugged I'm going to take the cross country route she murmured to Ella she then and placed a halter on her stallion she led him out towards the mare her dad had brought, once her stallion had mounted and completed she led the rather ancy stallion back to the stables and went and saddled her stallion up in his practice gear, a black jumping saddle, and black bridle with a D ring bit. She placed his powder green boots on, fixing them up she then did the same for his back ones. She looked up to Ella and then spoke Might see you on my cross country run She smiled then threw her leg over the tall stallion, on a lose rein she used her body and legs to move him out towards the cross country training starting point. At the single red flag the stallion reared up wanting to go go go. She made him turn a tight circle, she didn't want him to get hurt from going to fast, but she needed him fast. Holding the reins she let him go, and he cantered, his stride massive allowing him to gain ground quicker, they came to the first jumps it was a selection of E grade, D grade, C grade, B grade and A grade. Of course, she went at the A grade jumps, pushing him onwards before slowing him right before the jump where he took off and cleared it easily, it was about a meter wide, and it was a cr*p first jump. She ran her hands up his neck giving him his head so it didn't hurt his mouth she then sat deep right before he landed and then took the reins back and directed him to the next jump.

She made her way to Ted's stable. I may aswell wait in the outdoor arena, she thought. She bridled Ted using a jointed pelham (single rein) with a curb chain. On top of an embroidered crisp, clean white saddle pad, she placed a shiny black jumping saddle. She wrapped blue chevron polo wraps around his legs, but when she got to the fore left foot, something was wrong. She felt heat. "No" She murmered. She led him out of his stable, and asked a worker to trot him. He didnt seem lame, but she didnt want it to get worse, especially with a show coming up. She untacked him and put a poultice of his leg. She then called Avalon "I'm so sorry. I cant ride today. Ted has a sore leg, I need him to rest. I'm so sorry." She made her way to Falcon's yard, and as she approached, the horse, backed up, storting and stamping. "Hey boy," she whispered. "Why dont we try something new this afternoon?

{since no one is posting I will post again. Below is a pic of Ted and I jumping 1.95m as a one-off. I am now working on consistency with the jumps}


Ella

Beside the tall gate to the stallion's yard was a small tack box. She retrieved some carrot treats, a leather halter padded with sheepskin and a jar of molasses. She opened the gate and approached the antsy stallion. "Hey boy" she whispered. She scratched his neck and fed him a treat. She then worked her hands all over his body, giving him treats every now and then. He seemed to begin to trust her. Ella decided she would do that with him every day. Then, she got out the halter and the stallion shied away. Ella knew Falcon had had bad experiences with a halter. She approached him again, holding out the halter to him. The stallion sniffed it and snorted. She did the same with the lead rope. She opened the jar of molasses, and put a dab of the sticky mixture on her fingers. She offered it to the stallion and he took it, making sure there was no more sticky paste on her fingers. She got out another dab and moved away from the horse. She then called "Falcon!" and he came over, accepting the treat. This time she opened the halter, putting her hand through the noseband. She stallion put his nose through the halter, eating the mollasses. She slipped it on and buckled the head strap then clipped on the lead rope. She stallion back up, snorting. "Whoah, boy. You're ok." It was only now that Ella realised she was sweating like a pig. She was boiling! She lead the nervous stallion to a small concrete area of the yard, with a drain. She tied him up to bailing twine and turn on the hose to a soft pressure. She held out the hose to falcon and he sniffed it, drinking some of the water. She pointed the hose to the horse's feet, slowly raising it up. Falcon jumped slightly 'whoa, boy. Good boy!" Ella praised. She then washed the rest of him and sraped off the water with a sweat sraper. She then tried picking up his feet, and he seemed to understand what she wanted. She was really proud of him. She got out a light summer sheet and held it up to him. She rubbed it all over his body, both sides and shook it a little. Then she cautiously placed it on his back and did up the straps. She undid his halter and let him out into his yard. She called Avalon "I can come for a ride with you on one of my mum's horses. You coming?"

{Sorry for not replying! My internet gets turned off tomorrow for about a week, just so you all know why I'm not posting so often XD Sorry about that, and hey, you and Ted look great!}

Avalon left the staff room a short time after the other's left, then her phone rang so she took it out of her pocket to see who it was. "Sure, what time? I'm just getting Midnight tacked up now so I'm fine leaving when you are. Oh, and I hope Ted's leg gets better, do you know what happened?" With that she put her phone back into her pocket and went to get Midnight. Gently stroking the mare's velvety nose as she got there, she then opened up her stall to find the tack was still there on one of the benches, thankfully unharmed. "Whoops, I must have left it here before, good thing they aren't dirty or anything" Said Avalon, and Midnight turned her head to look at her, with a look on her face that seemed to say 'Clumsy'. Avalon just giggled, then started to tack her up for the ride.

Approaches Ace's stable and bridled him. She patted the gelding's neck. She called Avalon "Meet me at the bottom arena" She led Ace to the mounting block, then swiftly mounted, bareback. She stretched out her arm and grabbed 2 coiled ropes off the wall. "By the way," she added " Wear your swimmers."

Avalon nodded (I'm not sure if that was a phone call of not, correct me if I'm wrong please XD),"Okay, I'm almost done" She said putting the bridle on the mare. She then led her to the mounting block, and jumped on, urging Midnight into a brisk walk. She was already wearing her bikini under her clothes, so she didn't have to stop and change. They soon reached the bottom arena, Avalon urging her into a trot for the last bit.

Ella saw Avalon approach. "Are you ready to go?"
