I tense as she asks her question, and open my jaws to speak, but no words came to mind, so I grit my teeth. I didn't want to be rude and say no, but I wanted to get to know prairie and not be disturbed. I simply look at my paws, pondering the question. I would leave it up to Prairie. I look at Prairie, asking her not with words, but with expression.

Prairie looked at the expression on Rocky's face, not sure, at first, what to say. "Um, we kind of wanted to go.... alone," she glanced at Rocky as she spoke the word 'alone,' "Maybe later, ok?" The border collie hoped that she didn't sound rude to the fae.

I nod as Prairie explains to Arriana that we didn't want to be disturbed, but she did it so kindly. How does one do that? I would never have been so kind about it. I shuffle my paws. "Are you ready to go?" I ask, my gaze shifting from Arriana to Prairie.

Blu looked at Jake then at Nikki, 'Blu, my name is Blu.' she said to her.

Prairie gazed toward Rocky, nodding. She hoped the fae would understand and not try to follow them.

I nod at Prairie and turn in the direction of the Italian restaurant where my human worked. I take one glance back at Arriana before looking at Prairie, "Follow me" I say, turning and padding off in the direction.

Jake lied down resting his wet head on his paws.
