(The pups become apprentices when their all a little older than Icy's pups are right now.
And I mean like never see them. He would have to patrol in the morning, help Nibbles at noon, and hunt right after, at dusk- then help Nibbles and eat when he is done and go to sleep in his own den. If he slept for two hours he would be able to spend the time before sunrise with Neaveh and the pups, but any later and he would have to head straight out.

Sorry if I didn't make sense...

In other words:
Sleep: 11:30pm- 4:00am. Patrol: 4:45am-noon (12). Help Nibbles with pack issue: 1:00pm-3:00pm. Hunt: 3:01pm-8:00pm. Eat: 8:30pm-9:00pm. Help Nibbles (again): 9:05pm-11:25pm. Sleep again: 11:30pm. Naps in all the extra spaces, due to only having 5 1/2 hours of sleep each morning. This is what Mars had to do, and Glacier ^^. And I really don't want it changed.

Unless your willing to make Koda unable to visit his family, he shouldn't be the Beta.

And, personally, I don't really want him to be... No offence, but I think he complains to much and is a bit to soft, sorta rude, and boastful to have the spot.)
