Nibbles turned and stood still, waiting for Sakura and Wolf to go first. Once they had padded by, she took the rear. She was still to shocked from Sakura's appearance to speak.

"How do you know that? How do you know they will just get up and forget about you?" He countered. "Look at Brid and Koda; their not event kin but Brid still visits him. She hasn't forgotten about him." He paused. "My mother died when I was a pup. I know what it's like to have a mother just vanish from your life; don't put your pups through that." Sadness was welling up in his eyes, but he continued. "And Icy, if you don't fit in, then who does? Your one of the last members from when the Pack was in it's old territory. The dogs who really don't fit in are us, the ones who were Lone Dogs until we were invited to join."

Neve pulled her face out of the herb-nest and began doing what she always does when she comes there- sort the herbs. She sat up, plucking each herb out of the nest and starting a pile. Willow bark... Chervil... Cobweb... The named went through her head as she pulled them from the nest.

Wolf trotted behind Sakura. He constantly looked back to see if Nibbles was still behind him. He didn't want to be left back here with her.

Shibaan crawled under the bush, head low as she whimpered. Bet they haven't noticed I'm gone yet... Her ears were perked up as she waited for the sounds of her bigger siblings coming back, but it never happened. She sat there, waiting as her hope drained away. I'm lost in the forest and I have no idea how to get back...

Demitri keot looking around as they made their way towards camp. He could only imagine the faces the other dogs would make when they saw Sakura here. He flicked his tail as they entered the camp and then he remembered that Sakura had said that she had some messages for them. He turned around to face her, once they were in camp and nuzzled her shoulder gently. "I'm glad you made it back." He said, not meaning that she was back in the pack, just back with them, even if it was temporary. He hoped that something here would change her mind. He looked at Nibbles and padded over to her. "Better call a pack meeting so she can deliver her messages." He suggested.

Nevaeh watched the two pups and noticed how light Aurora was on her paws. She wriggled her nose when a scent entered her nose. Her ears perked up and she looked at Koda. "Do you smell that?" She asked, the familiar scent wafting more into the den. There was another. A pup's scent.

Aurora giggled and rolled onto her side, submitting. "Alright! You win Alpha Zeus!" She yipped playfully and pawed at his nose.

[chromatic.]

''Well brid forgot about me...I treated her as my own and she havent even came to see me and the pups, she only worry about koda and neveah so I know that she have forgotten be and I have been replaced. After all she did go with koda and neveah when the pack spilt up leaving me alone for those months to raise my pups by myself.'' she huffed. ''I guess I wont leave for now but someday I will. I...just dont feel happy here anymore, all of my family is gone..'' she said softly then picked up her head as she smelled another pup, but she could tell that it was not from this pack so she thought it was lost and chuffed quietly to it.

Both Crida and Keeva whined but obediantly followed Brid. Crida stopped as he noticed something. ''Wait a minute...where is Shibban?'' he asked looking around.

Keeva stopped also looking around. ''I dont know, she was following us when we went to find brid.''

"So much for hunting..." She laughed, then nodded. "Guess your right." She sighed then bounded away, leaping onto a large rock in the center of camp. She took a deep breath, then raised her muzzle. A bone-chilling howl came from her, much like Howl's meeting call. She paused a moment, then howled once more. As the howl echoed around the forest, she sat down and waited for her Pack to gather.

"I think Brid is just... Unsure of where she belongs. Your her stepmother, but Koda raised her from a pup. I just think she doesn't know who she fits in better with; you, her kin, or Neaveh and Koda, her fake parents." He sighed. "Who knows? By the time your pups are older and have mates of their own, you might have found love again also." He paused, raising his nose to sniff the air. "Lone Dogs." He said a moment before Demitri, Alpha Nibbles, and Wolf walked into camp, along with a short golden-furred fea and a small pup. Alpha Nibbles left the group and called a Pack Meeting. "Guess we should find spots." He murmured.

She went in through the entrance this time, instead of her little exit in the camp wall. She glanced over at two Lone Dogs then took her seat with the quickly gathering Pack.

Wolf thought he saw Sakura tense as they walked into the camp. He saw her glance towards the Nursery, then quickly away as if she had seen a ghost. Wolf turned and saw his mother with Roy, and was about to run over and tell her what had happened when Alpha Nibbles called the meeting. Sakura broke away from the group and followed her, sitting near the bottom of the rock. Wolf took his place not to far away.

Her ears perked. There was a howl echoing around the forest. She peaked out. There it is again! Shibaan crawled from the bush, desperately hoping for it to sound again. But it didn't.

Demitri smiled and watched as Nibbles took her stand and let out her howl. He wanted to howl with her, but just stood in position near Sakura and waited for the others to come to the meeting. He looked around and wondered where Koda had been.

Nevaeh bit her lip, hearing the Alpha's howl. She looked at Koda. "You better go out there....I'll stay here with the pups." She said and nuzzled him. She called Zeus and Aurora over then padded to the entrance of the den and laid down. This way she could still see and hear what was going on. As she looked out to the meeting area, she could see two dogs. And one was Sakura.... Her heart leaped into her throat and she just waited. When the pups joined her, she told them to stay as quiet as they could and watch the meeting.

Koda
I nod, eats flicking to the noises of Nibbels' howl. I freeze as I see Sakura. And a pup. My deep brown eyes locked on the fae. I shake my head, continuing to walk towards the others, sitting down.



Zeus
I laugh then perk my ears to the Alpha's howl. I sit obediently next to my mother, listening.

Her tail wagged impatiently as she waited for the Pack to gather. When most of them were in the clearing, she decided to begin. She decided to just get straight to the point. "Sakura is back, and has messages for a few dogs." She said simply, and took a step back so that Sakura could come up.

Sakura padded forward. Oh, how she had missed these dogs... Some more than others. She saw Koda pad out of the Nursery and felt her heart ache at the sight of him. She looked away, then hopped onto the rock with Alpha Nibbles. She set Kiwi down gently at her paws then faced the Pack. She had been waiting for this moment for months, she had practiced the speech in every spare moment, and she began without really knowing it. "When the illness struck and Alpha Howl was on his death bed, he left me messages for a few dogs. But once he died, everyone left. Daisy and Omega Tiny also left me messages for you all when they were dying also." She took a deep breath. "Icy. Alpha Howl said for you to take good care of you guy's pups and to raise them to be the best dogs they can be, and that he has faith that you will be a great mother. He also wants you to move on from his death and find someone else to love; he doesn't want you to linger on the past." She turned to the Nursery. "Neaveh, Omega Tiny has a message for you. He says he forgives you for attacking him, and that it was his fault that you got angry. Omega Emilia, Omega Tiny also says to forgive Neaveh for what she did. And that he misses you dearly." She paused, puffing. "Daisy has a message for both Icy and Neaveh; she says to watch your pups and make sure that they have enough to eat. Because sometimes, even when they seem strong, there might be something their hiding from you." She sighed. Daisy had lost Coconut because he was a runt, but Cocoa died from lack of food- but she had never told Daisy that she wanted more to eat. "Finally, Brid. Alpha Howl says that he knows that he wasn't a good father, and that he could never take the place of Koda, but he wants you to forgive him for not being there. He says that if he could have, he would have spent every moment of every day searching that cave for you." She didn't see Brid in the clearing, but if she wasn't there she was sure Koda would pass on the message. "These three dogs were great members of our Pack. Alpha Howl, a Lone Dog who was abandoned by his mother, then rose in ranking to become the Alpha. Omega Tiny, a loyal dog even though he was often treated unfairly. And Daisy, a kind little mother-dog until her pups passed away." She dipped her head. "Please, listen to what they wanted you to hear, and forgive them or accept their forgiveness." She picked up Kiwi then stepped back to let Alpha Nibbles take her place again.

Brid
I walk into the clearing just to hear my message. My eyes tear up at the message and the sight of Sakura. I tremble, want in to run over to her but I am almost frozen in time. Was this another one of my haunting dreams?

[chromatic.]

Icy sighed but nodded deciding that they woukd finish this talk later. She got up and took her place among the crowd and didnt look up until she had heard her name and was surprised to see sakura as she heard her talk about howl she cried both tears of joy and sadness. She didnt want to move on...She knew that she could do his other request about the pups but she wasnt sure if she could move on so easily...

Crida sniffed around catching Shibban's scent. ''You go back to camp but dont tell mom where I am ok.'' he said to keeva before he ran off into the woods and let out a small howl letting Shibban know he was coming.

Keeva nodded and ran back to camp along with brid. She snuck back to the nursery and waited for her sibling to return.

As Sakura stepped back, she took up her place again. "Tonight, we will have a feast in honor of Daisy, Tiny, and Howl. As well as Sakura coming back." She howled. "Hunters, please finish up your hunting patrols and hurry back as quickly as possible. We will eat at sunset." She signaled that the meeting was over.

Roy sat down behind Icy, and when she started sobbing he padded over quietly. He sat next to her and touched her cheek with his nose. "Is something wrong, Icy?"

Sakura held Kiwi tightly in her jaws and backed off of the rock. Once on the ground she just stood there, not sure of where to go. Usually, after Pack Meetings, she would just go back to her den- but she didn't have a den here. So she just ended up standing there stupidly with Kiwi sleeping at her paws.

She heard another howl, squeaker than the first two, but still a howl. She desperately tried to place the noise, then realized it was her brother. "Crida! Crida!" She squealed.
