"So, having a good day so far?" rowan inquired as she slinked through a gap in her cage. Being the rat she was, this cage wasn't going to hold her! The spacing between the bars was to large, so she could visit friends easily.

As the family was walking to the car Ginger looked through the pet shop window. She saw Rowan talking to the new cat. She tried wave at him and make him notice her. "He already replaced me." She sighed.She closed her eyes and snuggled with the boy.

Theo was woken buy growling and the rattling of cages, he opened one eye and saw the less superior lab struggling "hey kid- stop messing with the cage. Some dogs are trying to sleep." Theo told the lab, it was highly annoying to hear her messing on with the cage.

How old is she?}

(She's a medium aged puppy, but she's quite smart and mature acting for her age)
Rasha looked to see another dog talking to her. "I must exscape…" she replied with clear determination. She continued messing with the hinges, noticing they were starting to sound squeaky and loose.

Theo sighed "kid- even if you get out they will just put you back with better locks. There's no point." Because it was a pup Theo was automatically a tad nicer then usual.

"What is the point of living only to be stuck in a cage, at least I could try to escape and have a chance, instead of hiding in the shadows and having none" Rasha responded, her voice was clear and strong, as if she carried the wisdom of one greater than her age.
