Pebble glanced towards Nala and shook her head, flattening her small ears. "I did have a small pack, but they're gone now.." She looked back to the ground, pausing to itch her flank lightly.

Fleabane walked up to her. "As you don't have a pack, would you like to stay with us?" he yipped.

Pebble's eyes flew up, a small hint of excitement hidden in her gaze. "Sure!" She barked, her tail wagging sloppily as she shuffled her paws a little, resting them in a comfortable position.

Nala smiled. Fleabane's stomach rumbled. "That reminds me, we better have something to eat" with that, she dragged out the carcass of the buck she had killed early. She set it on the ground, tearing small junks off for Pebble and Fleabane to eat.
