Willow stood up tall, barely meeting the females shoulder. "I'm Willow," she said in the same serious tone. On the outside she looked non afraid and strong. However, on the inside she was shaking in fear and she was barely strong enough to catch her own food. She stared at the female, taking in her appearance. Based on the way she stood and carried herself Willow guessed she was the alpha.

Maple

"Well, go ahead and drown with your pairs. I know it's better to float on something than swim. How do you think I got here?" She turns to willow . "Good luck." Maple smashes the last pole and watches the house topple into the water. The bite to her tail stung badly but they were going to drown in they swam. Their legs would grow tired, then heavy and suddenly they would slip away into exhausted slumber and drown. Even if that alpha ripped her throat out, she was going to destroy the house. Maple saw the last peice of the house splash down. And she hopped on. "If you guys want to drown you can, but I'm going to survive. If anyone wants to live, you might want to hold on. " a wave smashes over her head, unlodgeing the floor board that had came down intact.

Amaia huffed as a large rain drop fell onto her nose. If they didn't hurry, the rain would defeat them again. She scanned the scrawny pit bull. Her eyes weren't disapproving but her body language showed differently. A from came upon her face.
"Well I trust you'll come with us. We're a but short-dogged. It's dangerous here." She said, looking back.
Not frantic yet, Amaia looked around. The water had risen since this morning and the day before, but it was staying the same now. The current was strong, but if they found the right place, they'd be okay.
Before she could give direction to Demo, a loud crash sounded behind her. Her eyes widened when she turned around, and splinters hit her skin like tiny daggers.
"No!" Amaia howled.
This dog was crazy. A chunk of wood hit her in the face, leaving a gash on her cheek the blood oozed from. A snarl escaped her throat as she ran at the furry red female, but she couldn't catch her without being swept away by the water. At least they weren't close enough to the house for it to blow them back.
She looked at the remaining dogs with even angrier eyes.
"When we get across, I want her under supervision." Amaia growled with rage.

Willow watched the scene in front of her in curiosity, then she remembered she forgot to give the female her answer. "Yes, i would like to come with you," she said quietly not wanting to anger her more. Willow looked closer at her cut noticing it was deep but wouldn't kill her unless it became infected.

demos eyes widened. he dodged any major damage and was just pricked by a few splinters. he looked at amaia sadly and licked her wound friendly. he nodded at her request. he narrowed his eyes at maple "that stubborn little..." he began before sighing and cutting off mid-sentence."are you ok?" he asked kindly, returning his focus back to the bleeding gash on Amaias cheek.

Maple

She leaps into the water and sinks her jaws into her raft. The strong red Mastaff drags it back to the bank avoiding the rubble. " sorry, but if I hadn't of broken that pole it would have fallen on your pack, and not into the water. You would have been much more hurt if it fell on you." She lowered her head and tucked her tail, trying to look sorry. She had noticed when Amaia said swim, one of the male dogs shuddered. "Your afraid of the water. I think.." She turns to Amaia "if you'll listen to me, I have a better idea than swim. Just please listen?!"

Smith watched as Cayenne looked at the window, at whatever he saw seemed to make his muscles relax.When the husky padded past him and asked if he wanted to come along, the retriever got to his feet."Might as well." Padding after the red dog, Smith followed him down the stairs and to the entrance, where he saw a giant dog. It didn't even look like a dog- it resembled a lion. Smith flanked Cayenne, muzzle extended cautiously to sniff at the new dog. The rain pattered on the male's coat, sodding it somewhat, but luckily he had a rough wiry pelt that made the rain just roll off his fur. But it didn't seem to apply with the newcomer. It appeared that she had a bird's nest infused in her thick fur."I didn't know we were giving out charity." His voice was low, and disapproval laced through his words. He watched as the giant female yanked out a knot out of her fur and pulled out almost the rest of her hair. Even though the Tibetan Mastiff was bigger than the both of them- the hopeless thing didn't even have a clue. Brambles and sticks were tangled into her fluffed up hair making her seem like a wild bear. Smith eyed the she-dog with suspicion. "How did you hear...of us?"

She anchors the raft up on the bank and holds it still. "Please listen Amaia, I went across the waters and I know where it is flood and where it is, and I came to show you where there is a concrete building that hasn't floated away."

Smith was skeptical about the makeshift raft, and voiced his doubts."What's to say that your raft won't follow the current of the water and sweep us away?" The retriever looked upon the scraps of wood with disdain."This "boat" of yours could fall apart while we're on it and drown us all." Smith shook his head as he saw the wounds that the dogs had received from the splintered wood."We'll be lucky if we don't get impaled on the cursed thing." Turning to the Tibetan Mastiff, Smith looked her directly in the eyes."And as for your concrete building- that will eventually be filled up with water too. The water does not stop. It is unlikely that it ever will." The red dog swept his gaze through the mangled pack."I propose we go to higher ground, where we will have an advantage over the water." His green eyes met the she-dog right on, not ashamed to make contact."And as for our swimming problem, there is a place not far away from here where large boulders have fallen in between the waters current, making a path of sorts. We can cross over there- but the rocks are treacherous- they are continuously splashed with water, making them slippery."

Amaia flicked her ears, letting Smith handle the situation. She had problems of her own, and Smith was almost like her beta male. She was confident in him.
Stuck in her own thoughts, she wondered what they should do now, if they should do anything. They had no where to go now, so they were forced to leave. Anything else they did could get them killed.
Not that swimming was any less dangerous.
Amaia looked at Smith when he proposed his idea, pretty much forgetting about Willow. His proposal seemed decent, if the rocks weren't completely submerged already. Looking to her left, she noticed the pit bull again. Demi was also dangerously close to her bleeding face wound. She took a step forward to get her own space.
"If the rocks aren't under, I supposed that's be a good idea." She said, looking around for them, "And I think we can trust Willow."
Amaia looked around again, feeling as if she were forgetting something. Cayenne. Where had he gone? She was surprised he hadn't stepped in when Maple disobeyed. Flicking her ears and shaking her head, she looked to Smith once more.
