Cayenne looked at Demo for a moment, then looked at Amaia. He got to his paws, flicking his tail.
"Sound's good to me." Cayenne followed his alpha's line of sight, and his ice blue eyes landed on Smith. He listened to the creaking of the stairs, and then...the house groaned. The husky's fur began to rise, and his tail stopped moving, sticking straight out as his ears lay back on his skull.

demo turned his head quickly to Amaia. worried as he was already, 'you'll kill us all' were not the words he needed to hear to sooth him. he bolted to the window to get a clear look at the force of the rain. it came down heavy, as if an unlimited supply of buckets of water were being emptied by the second. another lighting bolt sparked and a yelp escaped demos mouth before he blushed, feeling a little foolish to be scared.

Maple
Scared; Floating on a piece of wood; Alone

"HELP! HELP!" She howls. It wasn't her lucky day at all. Maple had traveled down from the north side to find a pack she had heard of. It wasn't a tremendous journey, but the sloshing water made it hard going for this female. Several times Maple's fur had gotten caught in bushes, fallen trees, splintered wood and rubble. The Red Tibetan Mastiff clung into the board with all her life, which it was. If she fell, she might float for a while then her wet fur would drag her down and she would soon sink. Maybe it would be better that way.
Maple kicks with her hind kegs till she floats close to a bank near a abandoned house. The dog smell was overwhelming, this must be the packs land. "Is anyone there?" When no response if heard she drags herself up onto the bank.

Smith snorted, but obeyed."As you wish." The red retriever sat on the hard floor, his eyes catching Amaia's."Though I don't see how me getting down is going to help anything. If the house is going to fall, the house is going to fall. There's nothing you can do about it." His head swiveled to Cayenne's, expression raised in skepticism. He could see that the other dogs were anxious to get moving- Demo was practically starting to get hysterical and Cayenne looked as if the sky had already dumped a bucket of water on him. Suddenly he heard a noise, someone calling out from outside. Turning around, he glanced back at the she-dog."It seems we have a visitor." The fur on his back rose slightly. They had no idea of knowing if this dog was harmless- but it did only seem to be one of them.We'll just have to see how this turns out.

Cayenne let his fur relax, and he turned to look out the window. He got up, walking towards Smith. "Wanna come?'' he asked the brute as he passed him, tail swaying. The red husky sighed, padding down the stairs, and out the door, into the luke-warm rain once more. He walked towards the soaking red dog, towering over the she-dog. "What are you doing here?" he questioned, voice a bit prickly, but not too bad. You could tell that this brute demanded respect.

Maple

She collapses. Exhausted and wet she picks her head up and says "what are YOU doing here? That house is gonna collapse. " maple lifts herself up and shakes her fur. " I am Maple, and you must be the city pack I heard about."

[Kornelia]

Cayenne lowered his head slightly to sniff the she-dog momentarily. "Yes, we are.'' The brute replied, avoiding the first question. "My name is Cayenne. W
Do you wish to join the pack?''

Maple

"Really? That would be great.." She sits down and tries to pull a not out of her mane. When I wouldn't huge she just tears it out. With a yelp of pain she finally gets it out and stand up. Maple was larger than cayenne. But her fur had to do with a lot of it.

Cayenne growled slightly. "Let's show you to alpha." He turned around, walking towards the creaky building. "Amaia!" He called from below, knowing she didnt want more dogs upstairs.

Demo looked at the new dog as Cayenne called for Amaia. A new joiner? maybe. he padded away from the window and over to the new dog "your name?" he asked her. she seemed bigger than him and he seemed to feel small beside her, for a male.
