There are three main wolf packs that reside in Yellowstone National Park. The Skin Walkers, The Dawn Rivers and the Shadow Whispers, for decades, these rival packs fought for the hunting grounds in the center of the park. But what choice do they have? Every pack has sick, elderly, and infants to keep healthy. The hunting grounds are small. But what happens when wolves start to disappear form Yellowstone? And the only trace left of them is the scent of blood? Is this a new foe? Who are they? What do they want?

What would you do if you had to live life with your guard up, just to keep your life? What if you had to work constantly, just to feed your family? If your infant child gets taken away from you, by force, what would you do? This is the every day life of a Wolf. Grey wolf, timber wolf, Mexican grey wolf, doesn't matter the type. Every wolf goes through different hardships. Some are born into leadership. Those are the ones with the strength of a champion, and have the greatest chance of survival. Some aren't as lucky. Some are small, weak, and defenseless. Those are the ones who usually starve because no one else would leave any food for them after the kill. Every wolf has his or her own story. What's yours?

ＲＵＬＥＳ

1.) No Mary Sues. That means your wolf can't be "the biggest and the strongest wolf of all". Other words, you can't be indestructible. This is a Realistic role play.

2.) No cussing. Bullying. Or harassing.

3.) You can't be a lone wolf through the entire role play. You must join a pack eventually.

4.) If you are to have a mate, keep the romance child friendly.

5.) You are permitted to have up to 3 wolves/characters, and each of them must be in different packs

6.) Please be creative and descriptive as possible. Also you must have a minimum of 2 sentences per character (He ran or She laughed do not count as a sentence.)

7.) I would appreciate it if you used good grammar. and no text talk was used in ICC or OCC.

8.) This a REALISTIC Wolf RP. This means no shape-shifting, no powers, and no magical items.

9.) As always follow Tess' rules.

This Rp Takes place in Yellowstone National Park. Approximately 96 percent of the land area of Yellowstone National Park is located within the state of Wyoming. Another three percent is within Montana, with the remaining one percent in Idaho. The park is 63 miles (101 km) north to south, and 54 miles (87 km) west to east by air. Yellowstone is 2,219,789 acres (898,317 ha; 3,468.420 sq mi) in area, larger than the states of Rhode Island or Delaware. Rivers and lakes cover five percent of the land area, with the largest water body being Yellowstone Lake at 87,040 acres (35,220 ha; 136.00 sq mi). Yellowstone Lake is up to 400 feet (120 m) deep and has 110 miles (180 km) of shoreline. At an elevation of 7,733 feet (2,357 m) above sea level, Yellowstone Lake is the largest high altitude lake in North America. Forests comprise 80 percent of the land area of the park; most of the rest is grassland.

Wolves in this pack are typically violent, and protective. Sometimes, they are very arrogant. They would NEVER back down in a fight, but that could be deadly. The Alphas, betas, and hunters are very skilled, but it's a small pack. It's quantity is it's weakness. They have no strength in numbers, which makes hunting a little difficult. Bones of their prey decorate the grounds of their territory. But the personality with these wolves shouldn't be categorized as 'Evil'. They do what they must do to survive. Like any other Wolf. But surprisingly, these wolves have a bit of a goofy side. They enjoy to play pranks, and play with one another. But they only show this side to those in their pack family. They occupy the Northwest portion of Yellowstone, the smallest territory not much larger than the hunting grounds.

Wolves in this pack are very agile, and fast. Of course their alphas are strong, but that's not what they're famous for. They could easily outrun an elk, or a hare. They have a more kind nature, unlike the Skin Walkers. They are almost like polar opposites. They know when to back down, and how to show mercy. They are benevolent, and kindhearted. But get them angry, and you'll have a problem on your hands. This is the largest pack. They occupy the largest territory in Yellowstone which is the southern part of the National Park.

Wolves in this pack are very intelligent and have a lot of stamina. They can endure physical attacks, and take them better than any other wolf. they are persistent, and don't give up easily. They will pursue their pray until they fall down from exhaustion. These wolves are competitive, and high strung. They make anything, and everything a challenge. They don't have much of a violent side. Only a protective one. (As all wolves have). This is a medium sized pack. They occupy the North East part of Yellowstone. (The second largest territory)

Her name is Astrid, which is a Scandinavian name for unusual beauty and strength.

SkinWalkers. She's currently the Beta.

Personality:
She’s an arrogant, stubborn wolf, who thinks she can do everything on her own, since she was born with mental and physical strength. But the closer you get to her, you can start to see her kind side. Deep down, she still has Shadow Whisperer blood, which explains why she's hyper, comical, and kind on the inside.

History:
Her and her brother, Akili, were born and raised in the Shadow Whisperers pack. Dominic was blessed with intelligence and stamina, but Astrid had strength. Even though the pack accepted her, and thought of her as an asset, nothing would change the fact that she was different. Looking for a place to fit in, she left the pack at the age of 2 months. Eventually, she found, and joined the SkinWalkers. She still sticks out a little bit, despite the change. She’s a little happier than the average SkinWalker.

Hunting, being with other wolves, playing, winning, playing pranks, and being with her feathered friend (explained in Other)

Strangers, losing, being ignored, feeling different, and having others help her

When she was a lone wolf, she always had the feeling that she was being followed. One day, after a successful hunt, she noticed a shadow circling around her. She gazed up, and saw a hawk. Wherever she wen't, the hawk followed (For unknown reasons). They bonded, and created an unusual friendship. She may not talk to him (Due to lack of communications. 'Different languages' in a way), they still manage to keep a bond..
