Flynn raised his aristocratic head as a light voice aroused his attention. He stayed where he was, but dipped his head in a mix of regal pride and respect. He liked Alaska, but envied her for her rank. Still, he was taller than she was, which he liked.
The noble saluki considered the question, then spoke carefully, his voice slightly clipped and his accent vaguely posh.
Breakfast was enjoyable, thank you. Yourself?
He asked, meeting the other dog's gaze. Flynn narrowed his eyes as Kody arrived, annoyed at the way the other dog had turned Alaska's attention away from him. The big dog stood up and bounded in long, fluid motions to Kody. He was much taller than the other dog, but Kody was obviously stronger than he was. Flynn was a saluki, after all, and so slim he probably couldn't fight any dog, let alone Kody. But his athlete's body, long and narrow, and his sharp teeth were enough to dominate most dogs. He didn't know about Kody, though. He was a pedigree, after all, and Flynn hadn't challenged him before.
What do you think you're doing? he sneered, his eyes narrowed.

Swift had been practising her dance moves- up on back paws, swirl, weave, jump between the arms, weave, jump on Chris's back into a backflip, back paws again, high-five both paws, shimmy, tappytoes. It was difficult without her master to practise with, but Swift was smart enough to find a nearby tree that did a good enough job. Out of the corner of her eyes, the young crossbreed saw Parker enter the park. Swift smiled and completed her perfect, flawless flip, then spun on one paw and loped over to the Australian Shepherd.
Hi!
She barked, wagging her tail happily. Swift was a friendly dog, and she enjoyed the company of all dogs, but Parker was fun to play with.
Fancy dancing?
She asked, smiling. The idea of making up another routine, and doing it with Parker, sounded fun.
I know you're not an acrobat, but it could be fun!
