"T-Talon...there's something else here," Nita said softly, remaining stiff and watching for whatever other was in the territory. Whatever it was had the scent of something large, fierce, but there were only two. Nita hunched lower and stood, prepared for whatever came at him first.

she stood up and growled "are you challenging me because you know for well only high ranks can" she growled louder

she huffed and laid down and sighed as a flashback came to her she looked up " i am sorry it was just...nothing" he said and bowed an sorry and laid down

"Nita what is it" he asked hoping he knew the answer

"There's something else here, really big and really close," Even more, Nita hunched over and held his tail almost completely vertically, hackles raising. The scent flowed around him until finally Nita got a direction it came. Suddenly, he sprang forward and into the bushes shrouding the side of the path.

he lowed his head to see what it could be but no sign he looked "Nita i think we must sneak up on it or lunge" he said and looked at lucy

"I wasn't trying to argue and I wasn't trying to fight her", she said as tears filled her eyes from being misunderstood and she ran to her den

Nita weaved through an entirely new path, the smell growing stronger with each step. His nose hung low to he ground in hopes of finding a trail, which he never did. Eventually Nita came to a dead end up against the mountain side with a large rocky wall. Nita tilted his head in confusion, backing up and turning around to go back.


About halfway back down the trail there was a crunching sound and Nita tensed, turning his head tot he right and seeing a bear hitting her forepaws on a tree, as if trying to knock it over. She was accompanied by her cub which watched her. Clear through the barren branches behind them was the herd of caribou they had been wanting to attack.

Nita watched as the bear got on all four legs and moved closer to the herd, while her cub scratched her ear and shook her head and finally seeing Nita and she gave a soft, eager roar to him. She bounded playfully through the brush and Nita stood his ground, hackles raised, and spoke: "N-No, little cub. Go back to your mommy please. That's close enough."
