The wolfhound trotted along the side of the road. Her tongue lolling out as she jogged. Her ears perked up as she scanned the land. Out in the distance and could see the sheep being herded and brought in by shepherds and collies. She continued to trot along, her ears pinning to her head as she slunk along. She rolled her eyes, letting out a snort of annoyance. They thought they were so great, little did they know. Being a stray, you could do whatever you wanted. Whenever. No one told you what to do.

She slunk along, ears pinned, she ignored the truck as it drove past her, honking its horn, yelling at her to get out of the road. She'd do what she want, when she wanted. No matter how much she wanted a loving owner. Her tail tucked as she jumped over a puddle. Her head turned slightly as another car passed by, honking at her, yelling something about a wolf. I'm a Saarloos Wolfhound! Not a wolf stupid! she thought, lips curling up. Her ears pinned back the wolfhound slowed down to walk. She continued along the road, not headed really anywhere.

The tan and black shepherd lay in the back of a pickup truck. His head on his paws as the truck rumbled along the drive. His ears flickered around as he road in the back, his owner hadn't said where he was going just to 'Load Up' and he hadn't herd where he was going either. He had been outside watching birds all day. He sighed, his chest and sides heaving as he sucked in the fresh air. He sat up, pushing himself up as he looked over the sides to the rolling hills. He didn't know if he was going to town, or if he was going out into the pastures. He didn't care. He was happy either way.

Jumping out of her owners small car, Parker started wandering the streets. There wasn't much going on in the town she visited almost daily. A few cars here, a group of people walking to stores, some dogs barking, the usual. Panting slightly, she trotted to her favorite store, the meat shop. Tino, the owner had always taken a liking to Parker, and always gave her a few scraps of cooked meat whenever she popped her head in. Jumping on the side of the building, she looked through the glass and barked. Tino saw her and smiled, grabbing a few scraps for her.

After she had her little snack, she began jogging around the borders of the town. Her owner would still be a while, it wasn't even noon yet. Hearing a truck driver yell, she cocked her head to the side and wondered why. She knew it wasn't any of her business, but curiosity got the best of her. She set off in the direction of the sound. Though, along the way, another scent caught her nose. It smelt of..dog, but she couldn't define it. No dog she had smelt before, and it smelt of outside, too. That was weird, not many dogs here were strictly outside dogs.

Jumping into the bed of his owner's large truck, he sniffed the air happily. His tail curled tightly against his back, and he barked his farewell to the other members of his human pack. John, his owner, started the truck and set off towards the fields. Well that's sad, Tsuki thought to himself, the fields are closer than town. He loved long truck rides. Standing on his hind legs, he looked over the top of the truck and barked happily, wagging his tail quickly. The air rushing against his face felt great. He stuck out his tongue and panted softly.

Getting to the field, Tsuki jumped out of the truck from the side, and began looking around. Not many dogs were here, a few herders were bringing the sheep together. It must be time for them to get sheered. Tsuki stayed by his humans side, walking slowly with him. They were headed to the barn.
