Tilo rummaged through the trash, scraping up a few pieces up tin and plastic before finally finding what he was looking for. An dead bird! Wagging his tail with excitement, the tusk dog, with much difficulty, grabbed the lifeless thing and ran back through the rubble which used to be a human city. When he came to the outskirts of the town, Tilo dropped the scrap of meat and climbed into an old rusty train car. "Vertigo..." He whispered, looking into the corner. As the little foxe's eyes opened, they seemed to glow. "Yes?" The frail female managed to whisper. "I found food." The muscled dog was fed, but only to a certain extent. He made sure that Vertigo always ate before him, and that she got more food, but she was so sick... It always seemed to go to waste. With a slight gasp, probably out of pain, the fox got up and stumbled to the edge of the car. "Just... Stay there." Tilo said, not liking the sight of his deteriorating friend. He ran back to the bird, reached down, and managed to pick it up again by turning his head sideways. The tusk dog dropped it at Vertigo's paws, making her take shaky bites of the old meat.

Darryl padded around his old neighborhood. Or at least his parent's old neighborhood. Before they died they had told him stories about the great humans who used to live here. But now, after the mass chaos that happened only animals ruled. Stretching he leapt up onto a porch and clawed the door open. Most of the houses remained sealed, which was good for him. It meant fresh food and a new place to live. Rummaging through the cupboards he found a bag of cat food, crinkling his nose he went to the fridge and opened it, wrinkling his nose at the smell he searched the broken fridge for something good. And there he found a turkey with very little mold on it. "Must have been frozen." he said before digging in.

Saoirse didn't care about finding a place to live or food. She could easily catch anything that tried to dart past her, she was a cheetah after all. Laying down on the highest peak she knew she looked out over the city. Watching several dark figures go about their business, unknowing of each other or her. She watched a figure go towards a box car, while another made it's way into a home. "Curious." she said to herself. "How little they all know."

Silver walked through the streets steering clear of the random puddles of polluted rain water. The rain water usually wasn't safe to drink. The humans had left the world in horrid shape. He panted in the heat of the day it was around noon time he thought. Though he couldn't be sure.It was hard to tell sometimes. He let out a small sigh as his long tail swished through a puddle. His tail aggravated him sometimes, it was too big and bulky, always getting it the way. He slowed his pace when her neared a house. He could hear and small another inside. He laughed to himself and entered the house, walking quietly. He slowly and quietly entered the kitchen. "Well what do we have here?" He snarled from the doorway. He was a fox though he was about the size of a coyote.

Armageddon ran down the rail road tracks. The small rat was being chased by a bird. He ducked under a train car and pause hoping the bird couldn't get to him. The bird landed throwing himself at the rat. Armageddon squealed as the bird caught his tail. Though he quickly kicked the bird hitting it in the eye. The bird let go and flew off. He sat up grooming his now bleeding tail. The rat hadn't meant to get into this mess he was just trying to find food when he ran into the birds nest. He sighed and curled into a ball.

Loud panting echoed through the streets as a creature tried to jump on a roof. She must have misplace her footing, or didn't have enough speed, for she didn't even make it close enough to her target and slammed into the wall. Disoriented, she fell down. A couple minutes latter she came too. Her head was swarming greens and purples as she tried to remember what happened. Once she properly came too, she looked up at the roof. She began to growl. Now she remembered why she was there. A huge hawk took the rabbit she caught when she wasn't looking. To get back at the bird, Antifreeze was going to it's nest to not only take back the rabbit but to eat it's young too. Freeze looked around the house to see if she could get any leverage. She did see the door open though. "Hm . . .I think someone is in there. Maybe even possible pray. I'll stay out here and hide just to be safe."

Phillip was currently hiding in a trashcan. There were so many predators that came to the city all of a sudden. It wasn't safe during the day. He sniffled a bit and then sneezed. He'll probably get a cold over worse if he continues to stay in the trash can. Pushing his weight forward, the trashcan came down and he tumbled out. Scared of how much noise he just made, he ran up a rain gutter and stayed their for a couple of minutes.

Tilo flickered his ears, hearing a squbble and rushing noises under the boxcar... His boxcar. Growling, the tusked dog slinked to the edge and paused before letting his head down over the lip of the car. "Hello." He said simply to the rat... A rat! Food?! Vertigo stumbled over next to him, her breathing harsh and ragged. "Tilo, bynthe sounds of it, the poor creature just got through a bit of a fight... Leave him be." The fox said, shaling her head a little at the male's actions. As he slunk to the back of the train car, vertigo tipped her head through the door to look under the car. "Hello there..." She whispered, eyes caring. A fox being compassionate towards a rat, who would have thought?

Darryle finished some of his turkey and was about to eat more when he heard someone enter the house. Whipping around at the sound of a voice he raised his lip in a snarl. His normally curled tail now straight and puffed. Growling he stepped over his food ready to fight for it. He didn't like fighting but in this time he didn't know who was friend and who was foe. "What do you want?" He said still in a defensive stance. He was bigger than the intruder but he knew all too well size wasn't everything. "If your looking for food there is more in the fridge. But this turkey is mine. I found it fair and square"

Saoirse watched as the figure of a bird chased something underneath a box car. Sighing she stood up slightly confised at what to do. Then she saw the figure from earlier come out along with that of his companion. The smaller figure was safe and she shrugged. "What to do. I am so lonely" she said to herself but she had seen groups destroy themselves and didn't want to be a part of it.
