Dala chased after Jack, barking, "Hey! Lighten up, Jack! I'm still your sister, you know."

Jack continues walking, keeping his gaze straight forward, "I don't want to talk to you. Why don't you go play with your friends."

Rose only walked through some puddles, sniffing the ground. The Bernese Mountain dog sighed and looked around, trying to find something to eat. She hadn't eaten in a while, and was starving. She grunted and walked along, shaking her thick coat from grime that was on her fur from the streets.

Dala sighed, "Fine, run away from me. When you let go of your grudge, let me know." She turns and walks away in frustration. He is suck a stubborn prick!

Rose gave up on finding food. She laid down on the wet sidewalk, resting her muzzle on her paws. She listened to the sounds of the streets as she sighed.

As Jack was walking, he noticed a dog lying on the sidewalk, looking quite glum. He swiftly walks over to the stranger, "You alright?"

Rose flicked her ear as she heard a voice. She looked over and saw some brute standing over her. She replied to his question, "yes, I'm fine. Just.. stressed out."

[Ruined Veggie]

"Alright, I won't ask why you're stressed. But what are you doin' all the way out here?" Jack asks, tilting his head slightly. "Most of the other dogs live either in or close to the ol' neighborhood down the street. Or at least all the dogs I know."

Rose shrugged, "just, well, patrolling around." She didn't really see what the point was on being near the neighborhood anymore. There was so much more to explore, but so less time to do it.

"Why? Nothin' comes here except cars and bikes. Possibly even the occasional squirrel." Jack said, staring curiously.

"I dunno," Rose sighed, shrugging. "I feel like I don't belong in the neighborhood, that's all." She rose to her paws, getting uncomfortable laying on the damp sidewalk.
