"'Cause if you didn't notice, I was standing right there," she chuckled, rolling her eyes. Aleese wagged her tail for a moment. "You're both loners, correct? You don't smell like any of those packs..."

Coal nodded "I hadn't noticed you" he admitted "I'm a loner, I have never belonged to a pack"

[wet noses]

"Well that makes two of us," Aleese proudly replied. She took another lap of water.

Coal watched her, interested now. He didn't know there were others like him.

"I don't really like other dogs, but you're alright," Aleese barked, offering a half smile.

"Thanks" Coal offered a lopsided grin "And as far as dogs go, I guess you could say you were alright"

Aleese was slightly surprised, but wagged her tail. "Thanks," she nodded. The husky stretched.

Coal gently wagged his tail, it felt good to be socialising.

Aleese blinked at him and faintly smiled in return.

Coal took another quick drink from the pond, then turned back to Aleese "Have you seen much of the packs?" he asked "I have heard of them, but never been in their presence."
