The brute chuckled, amber eyes flashing over then. "A little fresh air would do you well, hm? Maybe you won't be as moody. Besides, you're running low on herbs, aren't you?" He asked Remedy, giving a tiny smile. "I can escort you two to go gather some if you would like. If you run, the guards will catch and kill you."

Xavier growled, annoyed he would have to get up. He turned to Scout, making sure he would be really. He then saw Nex talking to his sister and glared at him for a few seconds, knowing he could catch the female since that was the closest direction to the woods . Xavier jumped from his rock, landing behind the female. "Your death can be arranged." He told her in a mocking tone.

Remedy listened to Nex and shook her head. "I wouldn't quite call it living, sir. I would more so call it imprisoned. At least in death you can leave and go wherever you desire, it seems this pack is worse then death. It's as if I am in a limbo, I am dead but I still can't leave. I am unsure if I would like to gather herbs because it seems a majority of the females here are refusing treatment because they welcome death, and the brutes here, well they are doing splendid in health. Now the running option would never work for me, you see, I have not gathered enough strength to run long lengths, seeing how I only get small portions, my energy is quite low. If that is not being starved, I am unsure of the definition. But, I shouldn't really complain about my small portions. Seeing how when my rank was stolen from me I was kept in a den with no food for almost a week. Besides, if I wanted to kill myself, I would go the peaceful way, poisonous berries. A quick and painless death, an option unavailable to most males of this pack because they have been saved for the females who want to take that option." she responded in an emotionless tone.

He truly didn't understand the limitations, wolves were free animals, she felt like a animal shackled and chained to go out only when she was given permission. Audits pinned to her cranium when he referred to her as moody, she was obviously irritated now. "Living isn't enough, what is life without free will? Answer that for me. Then again, you're probably too stupid to even know how to answer that." she snapped in response. It seemed she was the polar opposite of Remedy now. "Oh but running is the best part. Why walk when you can run, stretch out those muscles and give chase to whatever prey jumps out from the bushes." She said sarcastically. Her stomach growled just at the mention of food, she wasn't the one allowed to simply get all the food she wanted, she needed permission for basically everything. The fae huffed, seeing no other reason to respond.

Felicity turns to face him, she flicks her tail in his face, hoping a loose hair would get caught in his eye. "Aw, you are so nice." she said with a sneer. "You're going to pay for your sins one day, I will make sure of it." she murmured to him. The fae relaxed her muscles, deciding weather or not to dart off or stay and annoy him some more. Annoying him was more fun than being chased, she had to admit. Even though, she could die either way.

Scout crawled out of his den and looked up at the sky. He wondered what would happen that day. There was usually something that changed every day. Like a female tries to escape, which doesn't happen that often. The guard stretched his back legs, which always ached in the morning. With a sigh, he sat down. Scout wanted something to do, he wasn't needed often. He got up and walked around the main area where the dens were, nothing seemed to be out of order at the moment. The male looked at the area, everything was quiet, except for the omega speaking to the beta.

Xavier shook his cranium with a chuckle, avoiding the fur that flew so he would not have to rapidly blink one from his eye. "I would rather not dwell on what the future holds, you should not either. I mean, who knows, your future could end tomorrow, or the next day." He commented, clicking his tail behind him in annoyance.

Remedy listened to Morianna, but still didn't completely agree with her. "A chase would be quite amusing, but I wouldn't want them the pleasure of killing me, or well in my case, bringing me back. You see, they refer to me as valuable because of my knowledge on herbs. If I were to attempt an escape, I would be brought back and starved, repeating the first days of the pack's new horrid beginning. When I attempted to follow my parents as they were banished, I was beaten bloody and taken back to be starved. If I were to do the deed of eating the berry, they wouldn't have time to stop the poison, and I would have the pleasure of ridding them of their skilled healer that they need. I would have to do it mid winter though, if I were to dispose of the herbs before I ate the berry, they all would have no chance. Herbs can't grow in winter, but sicknesses do. " she told Morianna softly, hoping the brute would not report her own plan to the other brutes.

The female slowly walked out of her den,her pelt heavily scented of herbs.Her bones creaked and groaned as she stretched and walked"Good morning,sir" she greeted Xavier and dipped her head in respect...fake respect...she wore a fake smile on her face,a mere shell of her true self.She slowly walked over to a small group by the border of the clearing"Good morning ladies and gentlemen!" she greeted,hoping the other females would act the same.She sat down slowly and watched them"Fine morning isn't it?" she asked,cheerfulness woven into her voice.In one night she changed completely,but the change was only a shell that she wore.Inside bubbled anger and rage but on the outside she seemed composed and sweet,like a sweet with a filling.

Remedy cocked her head at the female who seemed overly happy, which Remedy thought was impossible for a female here. She watched as she greeted Xavier, then came over and too commented on how the morning was well. "Well if you consider staying in a small area a good morning, which I do not, I would expect you to say that. But, to many females, it is quite dreary today, as every day. But, it is quite well to see at least one female can be happy despite all the disadvantages we are put through daily." She informed the female, still emotionless. She was quite good at hiding facial expressions, seeing how she had practiced for a year.

Xavier grew tired on this female, and began to trot away, but before he did, he turned. "Torture is not limited to wounds, I prefer the method of starvation. It's quite a long process, and you slowly become weaker and weaker until you can't help but pass out every few hours until you slowly begin to die. We would both get what we want, you would be gone and I would have one less snappy female to deal with." He responded bitterly.
