Kivuli growled. He didn't move. Mali's words were sharp, even though he knew she said them just to rile him up.

Mali looked at him, thinking. "Do you think we should find more lions? To make us more formidable?" She was worried about being attacked, as there was just the two of them that could fight. "It would also help with hunting."

[Silver Raven]

Kivuli looked to her. "Yes. I have been thinking about that quite a bit......" he looked down at Jenny and gently licked down her back. "We could use someone to stay with Jenny more often as well."

Jenny blinked not sure about the silent conversation. but she sensed it was important and stayed silent

Mali looked at her mate. "Where are we going to find more lions?" She had not seen another lion for days. She looked at Jenny and nodded decisively. "We will find them."

Kivuli continued to groom Jenny. "I'm not sure. All the prides are sore right now. The drought has sent many away..." He eyed the dissipating puddle of water. "We should drink up and go back to find shade"

Jenny wiggled a little, and sat up
"more lions?" she asked softly

"Yes, baby" Kivuli murred. "More lions. That means more friends and more family, all the time"

jenny paused for a moment thinking about it "that would be amazing" she thought out loud

Kivuli chuckled. "Yes, Yes it would. He pulled himself away from Jenny and stood up.
