I yawn as my eyes flicker open. Flicking my tail I lick at Jennie softly as she sleeps. I purr as I close my eyes again and sigh happily.

Aria | Lioness | Loner
My ears perk as I look to see the watering hole, "Let's go grab a drink. Quickly." I tell my cub with a purr. I gasp as she runs over, "Ky! Wait up!" I call to her. She doesn't slow and I pick up the pace as I see her run into a lioness. { Sheeba. }

Kyri | Lioness Cub | Loner
I run over to the watering hole, stumbling a bit on the way. My ears flick backwords as I hear my mother call for me to slow down and be careful. I ignore her and I run right into a lioness { Sheeba }. "Oops. I'm so sorry." I tell her.

Shibe was lying perfectly still at the waters edge, his paws hanging over a ledge. He was motionless.

Ash had been allowed by her father to travel from her fathers pride, to her brothers pride following the path her father had laid out for her as long as she ran as fast as she could and roared three times on her way there so that he would know she got there safe. And so here she was. She growled playfully at his challenge and smiled before leaping out onto his face, clambering up onto his shoulder and grabbing his scruff with her tiny teeth.

I smile as she climbs up onto my back and straighten out my back as she bites my scruff. "Those are some sharp teeth ya got there!" I chuckle and flick my tail, turning my neck sideways to nip at her leg.

My eyes widen a bit as I look down at a small lioness cub, and then glance up at her mother shortly after. I giggle and smile at her, giving her a gentle nudge. "That's alright little one." I say with a warm smile and look up to her mother, dipping my head in respect for my elder lions. I step aside so the cub could continue dashing to the water, I sigh, smiling and watching her, wondering when my cubs will be along.

I pant, "Sorry about her.." I apoligize to the lioness, "Kyri! What did I tell you!" I scold my daughter.

Kyri | Lioness Cub | Loner
I sigh, looking up at my mother, "Don't go anywhere without you because I could get hurt- Blah blah blah." I mew, annoyingly. I flick my tail as I look to the ground, "Sorry mother." I add.

Shibe looked up at Sheeba from across the watering hole as if he faintly recognized her. Finally he broke out of his numb state as the shock subsided, and he padded around the watering hole and laid down next to her, purring. "Shouldn't be long now," He commented, smiling at her. He warned the mother and cub abruptly, "There is a croc in that watering hole. Stay as far away as possible."

I purr as I see my Shibe and then look to my stomach, I then look to the mother. "Oh she's no trouble at all." I say smiling brightly. My smile quickly fades as I hear Shibe speak of the dreaded croc, I pin my ears and sigh as I remember my brother's injury. "Yes, please do be careful." I add quickly and then sit.

I nod, "Thank you." I nudge my cub, "C'mon.. We can go find somewhere else." I tell her with a weak smile.

Kyri | Lioness Cub | Loner
I sit down, "No.. I'm tired and hungry. Can't we just stay here with the nice lions, mamma?" I beg my mother. I watch as she sighs and sits down. A smile crosses my face as I pad over to the two lions, "Hi! I'm Kyri." I purr.

I pin my ears. "W-wait!" I call to her. "You can drink from the shallow end, I will keep watch." I had to offer, I couldn't stand to see starving, thirsty lions, especially when the solution is available. I smile as I purr and look down at Kyri, my smile fades a bit as I hear her name. "I'm Sheeba." I tell her with a weak smile, I then crouch down to look her eye to eye. "Y'know, Kyri was my mother's name." I say with a smile, admiring how much the small lion reminded me of my mother.

Shibe felt a chill race down his spine as he heard the cubs name, he watched Sheeba carefully for a reaction. He smiled weakly at the cub. "Is there a nickname you go by?" He asked. He turned to the mother, "You can stay, if you like. We are a bit short on lionesses."

Ash growled and slipped off his back and fell, tumbling to a stop and regaining her footing quickly, lunging at him playfully, yowling a cute battle cry.

I look at the male, "I've heard that the cub will be killed if it's not the alpha males.. That's why I actually haven't joined a pride and tried to shy away from them.." I say, truthfully.

Kyri | Lioness Cub | Loner
I purr, "My momma calls me Ky." I turn to my mother, "My momma says I was named after someone special. Her sister I think." { HINT HINT } My mother turns and nods. "Yeah. They were separated when they were cubs and.. Momma thinks she died." i look to the ground with a slight sigh.
