☢ Grenade was trotting through the field, or Burrow Land. Every once in a while his black paws would slip into a hole. But that was only when his mind was distracted, for the most part he was focused on skipping and weaving through the holes. His silver fur shined under the sunlight, it was late December and the snow wasn't to heavy yet. They did have a heavy snowfall last week but that snow was melting by now. There was still some patches of the soft white powder. The brute sniffed the air, no female scents were found yet. But tomorrow was the first day of January, and the female foxes would start going into heat. Not like he cared, he wasn't looking for a mate. His wild eyes scanned the area before he hopped off towards the forest. His little skip of a walk looking strange because of his constant twitch as his paws and body seemed to quiver. He stopped at the entrance of the forest, looking back at the big field before slinking away into the trees. ☢

No Crush
❖ Mystery leaped over rocks and logs as she made her way through the forest. There was only one more day until she would start going into heat. She sniffed the air for any other foxes that may be around her, but didn't catch anything to near. She was heading to the place that she wanted to make dens with her future mate, the place where she dreamed of raising kits. She had picked out every precise place for each den, and which place would be their first den. Not yet had she dared start digging into the soft soil, fore she waited for her future mate to do that. She wanted them to dig it together, knowing it wouldn't be a special home at all if she had dug them alone in advanced. Finally she had made it to the small hill with trees surrounding it. She had flowers sitting on each place where a den would be. The female sat down and studied the place, the flowers were worn down and old. They have been sitting there ever since she left her mother and father. In fact some of the flowers weren't even able to be seen, but she knew where they were. The red fox sat there, her tail curled around her paws as she dreamed of her wonderful future. ❖
