Winter Pack - wolf - open

For as long as anyone can remember the Winter Pack has never found trouble. They have peacefully lived in their northern forest, hunting their prey and fighting off any attackers who dared challenge them. They were the picture of strong. Even in the harsh winters of their land they survived and continued living. People also remember how every time it came to choose a new alpha successor the current alpha would step up and name their choice. For as long as anyone remember, it has always been the right choice. Until the sudden passing of their last alpha. With no successor named the two brothers are now fighting over who will take the spot, talk of one splitting away from the pack is not uncommon. As tensions rise and winter approaches the pack continues to divide themselves. Will the calm and ambitious brothers ever settle their feud? Or will the pack truly split? Only time will tell, but time may be the very thing they need to fight against.

1. Literacy. I request that you write about three lines per post for every character. Have decent grammar and all that so that we can at least understand what it is you're saying.

2. Site Rules. Follow all of the rules that have been set by people who run the site. Not just my rules.

3. Characters. Only make as many characters as you are willing to play. No characters can be perfect and there is no god-modding or power playing.

4. Forms. These are up to you. At least try and put some effort into them, make them look nice. Please actually write out a personality, don't just make it three adjectives.

p e r s o n a l i t y ;; A very ambitious and cunning young wolf, he always has his eyes set forward and with the greatest intentions. While he hopes for the best for the pack his ways of obtaining it are often misguided. He believes they are the strongest of packs and that what they want can be taken by force if they choose to. He feels as though the pack will go very far in life no matter what the costs may be and he isn't shy about sharing his ideas. Windsor is very set in his ways, he's stubborn and refuses to compromise over how the pack should be run and how it should move forward. He even dismisses any of his brother's ideas about it. He is a smart wolf though, he knows that they need planning sometimes. But planning isn't his strong suit, he's a very rash wolf. He'll jump into a fight without ever knowing what or who the enemy is. He can be brave but he can also be negligent towards his own safety.

h i s t o r y ;; Windsor was born into the last litter of the previous two alphas. Unfortunately he was the only pup to actually survive, thus he was the spotlight for his parents. It was never a question that Windsor would go on to lead the pack, that was until his mother brought back a pup one day, named Rome. His parents decided to keep Rome as another pup and it was clear from the start that the two were different. Windsor was rough and tumble while Rome was always a bit calmer. Windsor was always favored by his mother who believed he would lead the pack to greatness. But as time passed his father began to favor Rome and this upset Windsor, he was no longer the only choice for the next alpha. When his parents became sick he stayed by them, helping them through anything to try and keep them alive. But it didn't work and his parents passed only days after falling sick. The only problem was that no new alpha was named, leaving both himself and Rome in the running. Even now Windsor remains angry that Rome would even be considered for the position.

p e r s o n a l i t y ;; No matter where you go you'll never meet a young wolf quite like Lady. Most of her time growing up was spent without her parents or siblings, only being cared for by whatever wolf happened to pass by. Due to this she has become largely independent and learns to do things for herself very quickly. She's also become a bit mouthy, always ready with a sarcastic comment or a sly remark. So far she has yet to learn to control it so she often says things she shouldn't to certain wolves. But she does mean well, she just has trouble actually showing it. Despite her name Lady is a tough little thing and rarely ever acts like a lady. She enjoys playing wrestling and rough housing with the other wolves. She isn't even afraid to get her coat dirty from time to time. But you've got to watch her short temper, the tiniest of things can set it off and a play fight may turn to a real fight. Of course fighting isn't her strong point, her slender body is much more useful at hunting.

h i s t o r y ;; Lady was born a few miles outside of the Winter pack's territory. During their first winter her littermates as well as her mother passed away. Her father knew that the two of them could not survive out here by themselves, that he wouldn't be able to care for her well enough. On one of the days when the blizzard wasn't as bad he picked her up and carried her, searching the entire area before finding the Winter pack. He was confronted by one of the pack's wolves just outside their territory and begged them to take her. The wolf agreed and Lady was handed off to the Winter pack, now spending her days with them.

Name: This wolf's name is Ice Rose, given to her by her mother on the season she was born and how her personality is like the soft touch of a rose petal.

Nickname: She prefers to be called Rose, but a lot call her Ice Rose just to show respect.

Gender: She is a female, of course.

Age: She is five years old, but she is quite small for her age.

Rank: She is the healer of the Pack.

Personality: You can describe Rose as a wolf of love, wisdom, and pride. Rose is highly serious in her work, and usually she's not the kind of wolf to crack a joke or laugh in that certain time. She has high dignity in what she does, and she's very careful to not mess up anything while she works. But outside of her duties, Rose is very out-going and childish. Rose is still very kind and sweet, while working or not, and she's the kind of wolf who hates to see other wolves upset. Most go to Rose to just get comfort, since she is a very comforting female. But Rose is fierce if you mess with her Pack, and can sometimes can snap if someone bothers her. But it's highly unlikely, since she has a wide span of patience and is usually always calm. She is also respectful to her Packmates, whether their lower ranked or not, and Rose doesn't ever keep grudges. Rose is adventurous, too, even for her age and has a soft spot for pups. Rose loves to teach others her skills, though sometimes she likes to be alone if she's ever upset. Rose hates violence, and would rather just stop all the fights going on, but she knows she can't. But to sum it all up, Rose is friendly to all wolves, bold, and intelligent in her work.

History: Ice Rose was the second born in a litter of three to a she-wolf named Lily in the Winter Pack. Her father is unknown, mostly like a rogue wolf or so. Rose was born healthy and strong, like her littermates, and from the moment she could see and explore, she was always the one who was most adventurous, unlike her brothers. But as Rose grew older, her littermates grew more into fighting and hunting, while Rose grew more connected to healing. Her mother's sister was the past healer, and Rose usually always strayed into the healing den to watch the work of the healer. Her mother was furious that her daughter didn't show interest in hunting or fighting, so as Rose grew in age, her mother and her got more distant in a daughter and mother relationship. But soon as Rose started to learn the ways of healing, her mother died of an infection days after. Rose's brothers, who didn't even bother to talk to Rose, soon left the Pack to find a certain healing herb for the type of infection Lily died from, but they never returned. Some think bears got them, or they were poached for their coats. Whatever it is, Rose isn't hardly effected by their deaths. When the healer died of old age, Rose took over as the full healer and is now doing whatever she can to help her Pack. Rose is sometimes, though, curious about her father but she doesn't think about him much now.

Likes: Rose likes company, other wolves, summer, running, swimming, being childish, healing, pups, her Pack and being helpful and comforting.

Dislikes: Rose hates wolves who are rude, winter, violence, being strict, being coped up all day, and not having fun.

Coat Color/Looks: Since she is a timber wolf, Rose's pelt is in some colors. Along the bottom, is white and a light brown. On top, her fur is gray with white and blacks flecks. Her coat is a bit shaggy, sometimes smooth, but usually it's nice and groomed. She does has some muscles showing, but she's a small she-wolf.

Eye Color: Rose has a very light yellow eye color, with some amber flecks.

Scars: Rose has no visible scars.
