"A stray," Belle announced proudly. "Just recently, though. Actually, today is my first day," she admitted, though a hint of pride was still in her voice. She smiled widely at the question. "Of course! I'd love to have company," she replied happily, her shy and distrustful demeanor dropping immediately. Fira was proving to be trustworthy in Belle's opinion.

Suddenly, a thought hit her. Her ears flattened. "But since I'm starting, I don't exactly have a place to stay," she muttered, looking away. "Will you still stay with me, though?"

August wasn't sure what to say to the group of cat who had gathered around him. They were complete strangers to him, and although he would have loved to strike up a conversation with most of them individually, groups were something he had difficulty keeping up with. So, he sat silently, tail curled rigidly over paws which continuously sheathed and unsheathed. His gaze darted from cat to cat whenever they spoke up, but he couldn't find words to reply with.

He glanced up at the graying sky, realizing subconsciously that he'd been shivering beneath his thin pelt. He didn't speak up about his chill, however; he couldn't ask the whole group to move somewhere else just to keep him dry. He'd handled himself in worse conditions, and he could do this.

It took him a moment to say anything, but he spoke up softly after the other cats seemed to be wrapping up introductions. "Well, uh, lovely as this all is... This ain't really my thing, and ya'll'd be fine without me, I'm sure, so I think I'll go. 'Nyone who wants to can follow." He offered a half-hearted shrug of his shoulders and turned away, shook out his fur, then padded on down the sidewalk half hoping he'd be followed and half just not really caring.

{I really didn't mean for him to be all "melodramatic" and stuff. he's just kinda walking off because he has no business there and no reason to stay, aha.

Coffee, mainly known as Vanilla, is very positive, friendly, and flirty cat. She never wants to hurt anyone, but she will if they are threatening her friends or family. She hasn't been a stray long enough to know the rules, kill or be killed, so she tends to break them a lot and get into lots of trouble. She is easy to be friends with, and she gives great advice. {Hi guys! Remember the sketch I drew of Mango and Cookie being hit by a car? Well, I half finished it. I need to add more details and such, but you get the basic idea. Because the characters are hit by a car, there is blood is this picture. I do not feel comfortable posting the picture here for those of you who don't like blood, so if you are comfortable with the idea of minimal blood, you may click this link to see the picture.

Cookie has a very un-noticable bruise that is hidden by the shadow effect on his hind leg. If you have superior eyes, you may see the small red blotch.

Ring twitched the tip of her tail in delight, finishing her half of the mouse. She sat up and cleaned herself a bit by instinct.

Owl wandered through the city, oddly avoiding the forest by great lengths. His ears twitched at the sounds of people walking past, but they didn't seem to bother him much, neither did the sounds of cars.
