"I cant calm down, you dont understand. I didnt even know she was still alive until just a minute ago." He said, staring into Maple's eyes, his fur prickling with excitement

Maple gazed at him. "Alright." She said uneasily. "But if you try to kill me, you'll have to pry my claws off your throat." She fixed her eyes on him and started forward.

Darkness strode forward. His black fur touched the ground as he walked. Darkness wasn't a big cat but he was pretty well fed. He yawned lazily.
