Cookie looked into the grayish green ones that looked into his. They belonged to the shiny black-furred cat. She was obviously female. He tried to open his mouth so he could speak clearly. "Whar..whar ih..ih...Ango...." (Where..where is..is Mango..?)

Mint looked at the kitten as he tried to speak. Ango? Who is that? I'm sure he said 'Where is Ango'. Mint's heart stopped. What if he was talking about the cat they found beside him in the road? The orange furred cat. Mint began to get a bile in her throat. She knew this would happen sooner or later, but she didn't expect it to be his first words. She slowly stroked his wolf-like fur. "..Just sleep little one." Was all she could say back to him. This was not a good time to tell him. He needed to be fully recovered.

Cookie slowly closed his eyes. He was so tired even though he had slept all this time. "..Mngo...Mngo..whre ar yoh..." He slowly fell back asleep
