It means any pregnant mares will give birth during the beginning of this RP, as we skipped to spring.

Tear Drop

A jet black mare stood a top a hill. A loud nicker escaped her throat as the calls of stallions rang out everywhere. Pawing the ground, Tear looked out to the meadow below her. A few horses were greeting each other, some even courting. The big mare had yet to find herself a herd. It was her second year here and she was still lonely.

Fire With No Flame

Fire grazed along the north canyon wall. Her long tail swishing at the flies. Her stomach was quite large, her foal due any moment. The herd had gone down a lot since last autumn. Now only Lass and herself were left. The dark brown and white pinto let out a strong screech as she felt a kick to her belly. The mare snorted loudly and turned to walk slowly to the nerby cave within the walls. Her labor had began.

Destiny's Child -
Destiny was rather relaxed, her head drooping with content as the stallion groomed her. She turned her head slightly, her eyes shifting to look at him out of the corner of her eye. She yawned, and then noticed his sudden little burst of anticipation. She was fine with how he treated her. She would accept his invitation to join what ever herd or band he had, and calmly let him court her if he pleased. Maybe having another foal would ease her mind of her filly that passed in the winter. At that thought, he head threw up and she whinnied, ears flicking. But with no answer, she settled.

Riptide -
The young colt squealed excitedly as the young mare accepted his adrenaline and urgency to be with this mare. Pushed up against her rump, his tail flicked furiously from side to side. Doing this with an older mare probably would have left a few cuts and bruises on his hide, but he would learn that as he grew older. With another burst of urgency, he mounted.

Foreign Affair bobbed his head in excitement. It was time for foals to be born, and he knew that they were on their way. His foals. As Fire with No Flame screeched, he paced uneasily, excited, shivering, elated. He snorted again, then trumpeted, dancing toward the mare, then away before pacing again.
