He looked closer and chuckled. It was just that mongrel that had been wandering around. He shrugged and ran into the woods.

Dusk smelled some food coming from the woods. She knew it was risky to enter pack territory but was willing to risk it for a meal. Following the scent, she padded fearlessly into the woods.

Max stopped and slowly turned around. That filth is following me....I'd better confront it. He spun in the snow and charged at Dusk.
