Teacup walked over a damp cardboard box and lifted his back paw from the wet as he lapped a few spoonfuls of water from a puddle on the ground. The tiny Yorkie then walked around the puddle and out onto the street and looked around. His body shivered, not just because he was a small dog, but because he was so cold and wet.

[Levina]

Opals paws where burning, soon she would fall to the ground if she found no food or water. she came across once again another shop pieces of wood covered the entrance but there was a large gap she could fit through. Squeezing in the tight gap she found herself inside the shop a broken vending machine was on the floor with water bottles in side she pulled it out being careful not to cut herself then began to chew the lid.

A roar was produced from her stomach. The mutt looked down at her stomach, frowning slightly. I'm so hungry, she thought miserably. She closed her eyes, sighing. She was famished and full of fatigue. She knew she couldn't hold out much longer. If she didn't eat, she would die of hunger. She had gone without eating for about five days.

The dog was Willow, a mix between a German Shepherd and Border Collie. She didn't want to sleep, because she was afraid someone would attack her while she was sleeping. She had smelled the scent of other dogs, and they were very close nearby. She knew that she was just adding to the competition looking for a shelter and food. This was a bit unsettling, but it was the truth. The city was different from before, but she didn't understand why. What had happened to cause it like this?

Willow's leg couldn't stand any longer. She collapsed, laying down, resting her head onto her paws. Her stomach rumbled once more. Her stomach gnawed at her insides from hunger, and she was too tired to hunt.

[Levina]

The lid flew off of the bottle as Opal opened it, water had spread all over the floor without a fuss she immediately drank the fresh water from the floor. Her dry, dehydrated tongue had tasted heaven. Opal's throat was sore but water had helped it, now all she needed was food.

[Sadies]

Teacup started to toddle down the street. It was strangely quiet, it was eary. As he walked he found some old chewing gum on the floor. He didn't think twice about eating it, it wasn't nice, solid and covered in dirt, but it was some-thing to eat. He kept on walking and came across a collased dog on the street. Teacup let out a whine and walked over and sniffed Willow nervously and ready to jump back if the dog got nasty.

Opal jumped as she heard a near by whine, she banged against a table in the shop and knocked off a glass. The fallen glass startled her making Opal fall back and skid across the floor. After the fright she stood up and peered out the window

Willow felt a small gust of wind on her pelt, and realized she was being smelled. She raised her head, looking at the dog who had approached her. It was a breed she knew; a Yorkie. She tilted her head inquiringly.

She had no intention to fight, and even if she did, she was too weak to even bother. "W-who are you?" she asked, her voice hoarse due to her parched throat. She had been drinking dirty water lately, but she had found none during this current day. She gave a helpless whimper, realizing her weak legs wouldn't be able to hold her weight, and if she were to be attacked by this dog, she would be able to do anything to defend herself. She knew whimpering was showing vulnerability, but she did it out of impulse.
