Smiling she nodded, "Nice to meet you Toad" She replied. "I like mice, also" She added with a smile.

"Yay!" The kitten cried happily. He cocked his head. "Do you happen to have any with you?" He asked. Phoebe laughed. "Come down, Toad," She called. "And give Pippa some space. There'll be plenty of time to talk in the morning."

Smiling she shook her head, "No little one, I don't have mice at the moment, I just came here" She explained gently.

"Oh." Toad said. "That's okay!" He smiled again and bounced a few times on the saggy cushions. "Your fur is pretty," he commented as if it were a passing thought. "It looks like my brother's fur looked." He bounced a few more times. "I used to have a brother. Do you have any brothers?"

Nodding she smiled, "Thank you toad" She answered about her fur. "And yes, I had siblings, though, I do not know where any are" She said.

"Me neither," said Toad in a whisper. "I think they went on a quest in a magical fairy land..." he trailed off, deep in thought. "I wish they had brought me with them." He yawned. "I'm sleepy," he said after a moment. "I hope I see you tomorrow." He hopped down to join his mother.

She nodded with a smile, "Well, I'm sure you'll get there one day, but for now, sleep tight Toad" She said softly to the kitten.

Toad curled up into a furry ball next to his mother, and Obsidian walked into the center of the room. "Sleep well everyone. You'll need your energy to hunt tomorrow." He then turned around and hopped onto the edge of a chair, and then onto the middle rung of a dusty old ladder. He climbed from there into what appeared to be a small attic. Phoebe yawned.

She waited until she assumed every cat was asleep, before slinking out as soundless as she could. She stepped outside, the door rattled and it frightened her, she jumped down from the porch and wandered a few steps before stopping, and just looking up at the stars, her silver parts in her coat glittering like the moon above.

Obsidian hopped quietly down from the attic and onto the rough floorboards below. He hopped soundlessly out the hole in the floor and landed under the porch. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath of the crisp night air. He padded out another hole and emerged a few steps from the porch, then realized that Pippa was already there. The starlight glimmered in her eyes and seemed to make them dance. Obsidian walked over and sat down beside her. "You too?" He said.

Basic Description: fluffy, black she-cat with selected, small ginger patches and white paws. Her stomach and chest are also white and she has a scar over the top of one eye. Her front, left leg is broken from an accident in her youth, so she walks with a limp.
Personality: uptight and hard to get along with at first, but once you get to know her, you'll see she is really a sweetheart. She has a soft spot for kits.
Anything Else: her sister, Koi, was taken by the humans. When she was a year and a half, she get picked up by a hawk. she struggled greatly and the hawk let her go, but not before it sliced open her chest with its talon. The way she landed, her leg snapped and her shoulder dislocated. Koi found her a bit later and took care of her until she healed, but her leg never really did heal correctly.
