~ Intro ~
You are a feral cat. Born in the wild, you face many hardships and challenges. You live with other cats like yourself in an old abandoned house at the very end of a deserted street, where humans rarely visit. Behind your refuge is a large meadow filled with weeds, where rodents are plentiful in summer and spring. You must be cautious when hunting there, however, for many a cat like yourself has been snatched up by an eagle or hawk. The edge of the meadow ends at a thick forest, where predators run rampant. It's very dangerous there and you try to avoid it when you can, but sometimes lack of prey forces you to venture into its depths. Predators are the least of your worries at the moment, however, for the humans have been coming closer than ever before. They set traps late at night near the house, hoping to lure your unsuspecting friends into their snares. In the beginning they were successful, managing to catch a few of your fellow felines. Most of you now know not to go near the traps, but much worry still remains. No one is sure where the captured cats are taken, but wherever it is cannot be good. Nobody is sure why they are being taken, either. Perhaps it has to do with the rumbling noises and falling trees that can be heard deep in the forest? You cannot be sure. For now, you must remain under the slim hope that these mysterious happenings will stop and that all will be well again.
Hello there! I've been wanting to start a feral cat RP for some time now, and here it is at last. Let's go over a few things before you post your character sheets.

~ About their world ~
First, this roleplay is about feral cats (as the title says). That means that they were born in the wild and raised in the wild, and have never had any significant contact with humans. They don't wish to either.
Second of all (as was stated in the intro), these cats live in an abandoned house. The windows and door are all boarded up, and the cats use a hole in the wall to get in and outside. The house is relatively small, but more than large enough to accommodate the cats.
The cats live in a sort of colony (I believe it's called a clowder), and help care for each other. They'll hunt for each other, find each other bedding, and so on. It's a little bit similar to Warriors, but more realistic. These cats do indeed have a small group of elected leaders (3 cats or so) that take on the biggest responsibilities and have much of the influence in large decisions.
