whenever mountain stockmen met round the campfires or on the winding hill tracks.

Songs were sung about him to the cattle and both songs and tales had become even stranger

since his supposed death when he vanished through the wind and the night over a great cliff.

Tales kept cropping up of a ghost horse seen, or imagined,

roaming over the mountains at night, of stockmen waking in a hut at midnight,

hearing the tremendous stallion’s cry which could only be The Silver Brumby, Thowra”

Respect, following the rules
I understand that most of you all know how to roleplay, but sometimes (only occasionally) some members may lack some respect for each other, so I do not want ANY swearing, cussing, cursing whatsoever. If you have a problem, PM me or that person privately and try to be as nice as possible about it, if I find out you have broken every one of my rules, you are out of this roleplay.

Fairness, no perfect characters
Most people know exactly what i mean by the sub-heading... Please don't create your character as a Perfect charra, all horses have flaws, as do people and anything you will see in life! I will not accept you if you claim to have a perfect character.

Be fair in RP
Please don't just randomly attack characters unless the other person/rper agrees to this, you will get a warning if this rule is broken.

Territory/Mates
NO FORCED MATING ETC. There are no territories, wild horses move around generally, in groups called bands. With only 1 stallion and several mares and their offspring.

Leadership
This applies to both bands/herd and in OOC. I don't want an older player picking on a younger one. And as for the herds stallions are NOT leaders. They come and go, but mares generally stay for life unless stolen by another stallion. An older mare is usually the leader, she can be trusted to lead the others to food, water and safety.

Lines/Paragraphs/Posting
Please write at least two descriptive sentences in your posts. I don't want it to be like this: (horses name) trotted. He suddenly halted. - Because what's the fun in that post? There is non, and how can we reply to such a short post? Try and post over 2 sentences.

No stealing/fighting if the other stallion/player is offline
The heading above says it all folks.

Personality: Cautious and Wise, but too curious for his own good. Thowra is protective and gentle towards mares, but agressive towards stallions and older colts who pester him and his mares and offspring.

History: Thowra was born wild and has had an unnatural curiousity for the human race, and the tame horse. He loves to run, his silvery coat blends in with snow and he disapears when winter hits and snow falls. Born high in the mountains, on a cold winter blizzard night, he was the only foal that season that surivived the harsh conditions. He is hardy, muscly and wise in what he says and does. As a youngster in his first (birth) herd he was considered a 'lone wolf' with his half brother, but after a while they went their seperate ways and Thowra has grown up with two of his own herds, of which one was seperated from him and the other captured by the men of the high country.

History: Romeo was born as a tame horse, his dam a wild mare who was captured foaled the night she was caught. He escaped when he was a yearling when they tried to break him in early, it failed... he has ran wild ever since!
