Tempest trotted over to his mares and smiled at them both, "you two ready to go?" he asked happily, looking up at the sky, that was slowly starting to lighten.

"I am and she's finally awake so why not" she said before shaking her mane out and stamping the ground with her hoof.

"Yeah why not",she neighed and trotted over to him and leaned against him

Tempest rubbed his muzzle against Kori and smiled, "It's about a days walk from here eastward, but it'll be worth it... let's go" he said and he looked in the direction they'd be going, before starting down the slope into the trees, looking back to check that Yew was following.

She shook her mane "Yew ya coming?" She said and looked back too

"Yeah" Yew snorted to her self as she watched them walk out in font of her, "Kori may be his favourite but I'm the strongest! I will be lead mare no matter what!" She mind shouted to her self.

"I was snaked from my birth herd with my mother when I was a few months old. From that herd, I was snaked again, but that was many years later. My last herd was just rounded up the other day, and I managed to escape. In my previous herd, I was the oldest and the lead mare."
