Territorial (Stray Dog RP accepting)

Nikita yipped with excitement as she bounded up through the neighborhood, looking around and then stopping once she seen a more-- yuckier part of town. She slowly padded through it, tall green grass and a much worse looking junkyard than hers, she kept her head low and whined softly. "I really hope there isn't any mean dogs around here." She gulped and pinned her ears lightly to her head while looking around cautiously.

[Akachi's Nightmare]

Ares-

Ares noticed a blur moving in the distance just behind the mess of old cars. He let out an awkward laugh of relief. This time, he was sure that it was an animal. It looked darker than the grass. But Ares could not make out it's size from the distance he was at. Ignoring the un-clarity of the situation and listening fully to his stomach, Ares descended the hill. He crouched down within the grass that was just tall enough to cover his massive balk. Once within running distance of the brownish animal, he charged, barking ferociously.

Nikita perked her ears and whipped her head around to see the massive dog, she whimpered loudly and began to run as fast as she could, racing through the grass with her tail tucked.

[Cradily]

Boom!

Jerry was startled awake by the loud rumble of thunder. His heart thudded in his chest as he stared outside at the pouring rain, turning the once-dry, dirt-covered ground into a great big puddle of mud, and he suddenly felt very grateful for the abandoned fox burrow he had found just the day before. Sure, it smelled a bit funny, but at least it was shelter from the rain. He opened his mouth wide in a big yawn, stretched each of his limbs in turn, and headed into a separate tunnel in the burrow where he had stored a small portion of food last night. Licking his chops hungrily, he dug into a half-eaten piece of fried chicken, an oatmeal raisin cookie, and some canned fruit drowned in a sweet, sugary syrup. It all tasted surprisingly good, despite probably being days old, and he found himself choking back a whine of disappointment when he realized he had eaten all of it.

(By the way, since the weather seems to be pretty good where the rest of the characters are and all stormy and rainy where Jerry is, let's just assume for the moment that he's far away from the others. xD)

[the batter]

RUIN / KAI KEN / JUNKYARD
the male was relaxing in the sun that made its way through the thin, ragged roof of the car he was napping in. He yawned, lifting his head from his paws and pricked his ears, amber eyes narrowing slightly as he glanced around. He was bored, and being a lone dog, he didn't have many friends. He snorted, his ears twitching as he heard barking of other dogs. The lean brute got to his paws, than trotting to one of the larger cars. He crouched, wiggling his haunches a little bit and leaping up onto the car. He glanced around, the sun warming his red-brown fur. His ears twitched, eyes narrowing as he spotted another dog, barking at something. He shrugged and jumped back down, casually trotting out of the junkyard, and into town. His head snapped up, the barking getting louder. He glanced over his shoulder, and saw the large dog he saw earlier, chasing after something. He cocked his head slightly to the side in confusion. He wasn't sure what all was going on.

Ares-

Ares watched the animal take off running. He pursued, mad with hunger. The animal was fast, but Ares was determined. He kept pace but was still far behind his prey. "Run all you want! You're dead!" He called out, triumphantly. Even if the critter was faster than he, Ares was confident enough to think he'd catch up to it.

( Good thinking! Next post I'll put one of my other characters in you're rainy area so you have somthin' ta do. )

( Of course! One of my own characters is gay. It's most certainly allowed here. )

She yelled back to him frantically. "So you eat your own kind!?" She didn't stop running though, only slowed down from her tiredness, but trudged on.

[Akachi's Nightmare]

Ares-

Ares stopped in his tracks, nearly falling over on his face. He regained his composure quickly and looked back at the other dog, whom was still running away. "Wait... yer' a dog? A girl dog?" He changed the tone of his voice from rough to soft and purred: "Oh, sorry if I uh, startled you. Thought you was a rabbit er somthin'. C'mon back here honey, I won't bite."

His ears twitched, and he snorted. A dog chasing another dog? This confused him. He shrugged, turning and trotting back into the junkyard. He wove through the old cars and various piles of metal, looking for another dog to talk too. He was, most of the time, a lone dog, but sometime she needed to talk to someone else. He snorted, crouching and waggled his haunches a little bit than leaped up on top of an old van. He glanced around, and leaped back down. He didn't see any other dogs, so right now he guessed that walking around for a while until he ran into someone would be okay.
