Bear cast a glance over at Misty. He thought he smelled the boss. He sniffed the air, his long, red bushy tail sticking straight up.

{The lock up isn't detailed, because I know it seems cruel but the boss isn't mean...^^
The boss walked over and picked Misty and Bear up. "What is up with you two? Not getting to work? Didn't anyone ever teach you some manners?" He said in a rough voice, although he was only kidding. He carried one pup under each arm, walking over to the large kennel at the side of the barn. He unlatched the front and gently placed the two dogs in. "Now, you stay in there, and remember, you can't have any food, because you didn't work. If you're lucky, I'll sneak you a piece of bacon."
Misty's eyes widened. She knew bacon was really good, but had never tasted it before. She licked her lips, but had a glum look on her face from the kennel and lack of food.

Bear shrugged off his non-liking of the boss, and padded farther into the kennel as the door was shut and latched. He sat down. "Hi, Misty." He woofed, hiding his feelings for the dog.

Misty shifted uncomfortably, afraid to do something stupid when she was around Bear. She reminded herself that she was a fox, but Bear was one, too. Although her and her family never told anyone, they know that all the 'dogs' were foxes. "H-hi, Bear." She stammered, not meeting his eyes.

"Misty, what's wrong?" Bear asked, afraid Misty was a little scared of him.

"Oh, nothing's wrong, I just get so nervous around you!" Misty shook her head. "It's like I loose my mind," She admitted.

Bear's eyes widened. "Really? You like me? I like you too, Misty!" He gave a little hop back and forth.
