S I R C O L L A F:

Sir Collaf sat near the river bank of Salmon River. The large grizzly flexed his shoulders, watching as some salmon leapt above the surface, the pale sunlight reflecting off their red scales. He sniffed the air and the fresh scent of musky water flowed into his nostrils, also with the soggy scent of melting snow.

Spring was returning, and he was grateful for that. With the gaining enemies, the endless cold was making all of them go mad. But now that the snow was only turning into water and the plump fish were coming again, it made him feel happy to watch the first rays of light fall down from the sky that morning.

J U M B A I:

Jumbai sat near the entrance to camp, which was a rock like crevice. He sniffed the air and narrowed his eyes. He wanted summer to come, with the endless prey and warm light. Spring was okay, but he preferred summer. He didn't care about mating season, since he wasn't attracted to females, but he just didn't like the ground when it was covered of melting snow.

J U M P A I:

Jumpai dipped her muzzle into the river water, sipping down some of the cool liquid. It was cold, the cold ice melting into the river water as the sunlight grew stronger, but she was thirsty from her endless days of coped in camp.

Jumpai lifted her small head, looking around. The pine trees around the river were still green, and the grass, even though it was dead, was turning luscious. Soon, berries would be plentiful.

Tawny yawned, she emerged from her cave and padded outside to look at her surroundings. She saw a berry bush and waltzed over to it and plopped down, picking them off with her claws and eating them gracefully. She ate her feel and lugged herself down to the river, she got a drink and sat in the water, cooling her bottom off and watching the water ripple beneath her.

J U M P A I:

Jumpai got up from the sand and trotted back to camp. The forest, even though it was turning green and the prey would be returning truthfully, it was still dangerous. Panthers lurked in the trees, wolves behind rocks, and lone grizzlies in the undergrowth. Of course, none came deep within the territory, unless they wish a death wish.

Jumpai saw her brother near the entrance. The large bulk of fur known as Jumbai looked over at her and narrowed his eyes. Jumpai said, "hello, brother."

J U M B A I:

Jumbai was about to growl at the looming shadow coming over, but realized it was his sister. He snorted, "hello. Go right in." He stood up and stepped aside, letting his sister go through the sharp thorns.

S I R C A L L O F:

Sir Callof laid down on the bank, dipping his paws in the cool water. He closed his eyes, yawning and showing his sharp teeth as he rested his muzzle on his front paws. He flicked his pelt from water vapor that came from rocks downstream as the current turned more rough.

She shook her brown pelt and rolled in the water, getting a bath and grunting lightly, she then padded further down the river, where the stronger current was, and the fish, she smirked to herself as she brought one big 'ole paw out after another.

S I R C A L L O F:

Sir Callof blinked his eyes open. He thought he saw a shape farther downstream, but thought it was probably the sunlight playing tricks. The large grizzly rose to his paws and yawned, shaking his coat.

He realized the salmon was getting lower. He sighed and knew the enemies probably token some already. Except for coming in hundreds, they only came in about fifty groups. The enemies could steal the fish only in their camp, which was quite far and no bear could get too. Every bear would be hungry for the next seasons.

Sir Callof walked up the bank, shrugging his head. He flicked the only stub he had as an ear and looked around, seeing the rock barrier farther upstream where the waterfall was.

She roared(I think that's the sound bears make... o_o)
and ran down the stream, not seeing any sign of the salmon, she huffed and frowned, displeased with her outcome, no fish, no food. "What's a girl got to do to catch a fish around here?" She huffed again and say aloud, she didn't see any other bears, so she was calm.

He woke yawning and streching, "what a wonderful day" he smirks to himself. Before he strolled down to the river bank .

"Its a great spring day isnt it sir, not a loner in sight" He turns to Sir Collof

She walks out of her day hungry "Wow spring you took forever£ she smiles at the sun before walking down to the bank"

"Wow the water is so cool" , as she grabs a salmon in her mouth "Yum" she says staring in the Salmons eyes

Sir Callof heard a roar and turned. He rose on his hind-legs, about the height of the bottom to top of a mini van, and peered forward. The sunlight blinded him so he fell back on all fours, looking at the barrier. The rocks were slick, and nothing could climb them. Besides, up above was only a pool of water where the river water fell down into Salmon River.

Sir Callof grunted to himself and pawed the stones before sniffing the ground. Winter ended only sun-rises ago, so it was still quite cold.

Sir Callof turned his head and saw Quin. He said, "oh. I'm just trying to find food. It's lacking right now. And yes, spring is always great." He shook his head, knowing SOMETHING was out there.

She walked forward more, huffing and mumbling to herself, she rose up and looked downstream a bit more, seeing nothing or no one, she continued on, in search of food, she was growing a bit hungry, the berries wouldn't last her no time.
