Ruby looked at him "you have a lovely name as well miss" she said with a curt smile. She wasn't in the best of moods because she was deep in heat. She pawed at the ground and snorted, then lashed at the pesky flies that swarmed around her rump. Ears pinned she ripped some grass and chewed on it, keeping a glaring eye on sun.

Sun smiled in return and flicked his tail. "I see you aren't in the best of moods" he said with amusement. "You are quitea lovely mare, and lively, lively mares are the most fun since they fight back." He may be new to being a herd stallion, but one thing he learned when snaking, the feisty ones were the most fun to chase, if a little annoying.

Ruby widened her eyes and pinned her ears to her skull. Memories of her past flooded into her mind. Her father, getting ready to cover her and her sisters, and treating them like garbage. This stallion thought of fun when chasing mares? Ruby tried to mask her fear by keeping a straight face. She took a few steps back remembering with detail how the stallions always commented on her loveliness only because of her unusual brown spotted white coat. "thanks" she muttered, taking more steps back

Sun tilted his head in confusion as fear flashed through her eyes before covered by a blank mask. "Are you okay Ruby? Did I say something wrong?" He asked but stayed where he was since he sensed it would be bad to persue her.

Ruby's bad mood came back and she snapped "I'm fine" she lashed her tail and nipped his shoulder "mind your own business" her memories slowly melted out of her mind and she continued grazing. She didn't back up anymore, only stayed put

Sun took the bite and did nothing, instead, he folded his legs under him and watched her as he laid on the grass, casting glances at Alora every now and then. "You're right, it wasn't my business, I am very sorry."

Ruby looked at him and rolled her eyes, snorting "oh just shut up sun" she pawed at the ground before turning to leave, her tail flicking back and forth.

Sun stood up and followed, "why are you so cold to me? I truly don't think I did anything wrong"

Ruby rolled her eyes and shipped his face with her tail, annoyed. She went into a trot, not answering him, but keeping her ears pinned.

Sun was starting to get angry, he did nothing to this mare and yet she was treating him like he was the worst possible creature. He trotted too and got in front of her, glairing "What is wrong with you? Please tell me what I did to deserve your anger."
