She stretched as she moved along. She was heading towards one of her favorite areas to get water. The water there was shaded by trees so the water was cool and not hot. She kept her ears pricked up, alert incase of any danger. She didn't hear anyone or anything near by so she didn't worry too much if she made a little noise or anything. Soon she reached the large pond and bent down to get a drink, her tail keeping away the pesky flies. She took a long sip of the water, enjoying its refreshing coldness. She then finished drinking and raised her head away from the water but she stayed there, looking at her reflection in the water. She sighed, she was very bored. There wasn't much going on where she was, normally that's a good thing but sometimes it gets on her nerves and she gets bored.

Running Rain trotted through the grasses, the sun warm on her back. She kept an eye on her colt as the yearling jumped and ran, but being sure that he didn't stray too far. This was her herd, the only herd she was willing to stay with, but soon he will be gone too, the colts always left, and it was for the best, even if it did get lonely. "Mom, there is a pool over the hill." The cherry bay yearling called, standing on the hill's crest. Rain trotted up and looked, there was indeed a pool, with trees covering most of it. "Let's go get a drink then" the buckskin mare said. Once down by the water, Rain noticed another horse, a mare. She watched the mare as Trinity drank, unsure of the horse.



Shinning Sun galloped through the grasses, enjoying his freedom. Unlike most, he preferred not to have a herd, sneak mating was his way. He loved that he could go anywhere and have to just look out for himself. He loved the streatch he got from galloping at his own speed, not having to slow for any mares. Though he loved this style, he didn't mind joining other stallions for a while. He came to a ridge and stopped, seeing two mares and a foal next to the water. Unsure as to whether he should go down. His thirst finally made up his mind. Walking down, the buckskin stallion ignored the maresn though one seemed to be in season, something difficult to ignore, he took a drink, looking at the two and the colt.

Pepper
She looked towards the new-comers. She noticed the mare and the foal first. Obviously it was only them too, no herd. Then she saw the stallion next, maybe she was wrong about the mare and colt having a herd but se noticed that the colt didn't look like the stallion so she presumed he was without a herd. She didn't see them as any threat. She nickered, saying hello to them.

Running Rain nickered a hello back. She was starting to relax, she was not needed by the stallion, she has a colt so she was safe. Trinity pranced over to the stallion, curious about him. Shinning Sun looked at the colt not sure what to do with him. After checking the stallion out, Trinity pranced over to the other mare.

The beautiful Arabian mare galloped across the fields, her nostrils flaring. Step had a long stride going on as she raced across the flat, dirty field. She huffed and got another spurt of speed and began slowing down. She panted and shook her mane and flicked her tail, walking her run off of her broad shoulders.

Pepper
She watched the colt as he went over to the stallion then to her. She was already relaxed, always trying to stay calm. The colt looked liked the mother, though the colt had more bold color's than that of the mother's. She Went and got another sip of water from the pond, thirsty again. The stallion hadn't done anything so she didn't need to be worried and the colt wasn't a threat either, the mare didn't see all too bad either. Sometimes she preferred the winter though since there weren't any pesky flies but only sometimes, her tail normally kept all the flies away which it was doing now, flicking back and forth while spreading the scent of her being in heat.

The young mare, trotted out into the clearing, with her ears perked up alert as she listened to her surroundings. Willow was still keeping an eye out for her yearling though she hasn't found anything yet. The mare huffed, swishing her tail to get the flies away same time as spreading her scent, she kept an eye out for a stallion as well not liking that she was alone unprotected, but also deep inside her she didn't really want to join a herd or even start one with a stallion. She wasn't looking for a young one this time, she hoped for an older and experienced stallion not like the one she did have, but who ever will snake her she would have to stay with.

Shinning Sun

Shinning Sun couldn't help but turn his head and sniff towards the mare. He stamped his front hoof and arched his neck. He stood to his full height. He couldn't help but show off slightly, he was a stallion after all. His tail was flicking to keep the flies away, but it was held in a show off pose

Rain danced away from the stallion slightly, her buckskin coat shimmering under the warm sun. Her tail flicked, swatting flies away. Trinity stepped away from the strange mare and scented another, though he was still too young to understand what the scents mean. Barely young enough.
