Dagger chuckled when he got sprayed with water. His head shot up when he heard Shilah's sudden sternness. "What's wro-" He spotted the trucks. A low growl had risen in his chest, his eyes narrowed in anger. Dag lowered his head, picked up Promise by her scruff, and nodded to Shilah to start running. He would follow after her with Promise in his muzzle.

[karasu,]

» Promise pouted. "I can run myself" she protested.

[-Reyna-]

Dagger didn't respond to Promise - he couldn't if he wanted to, really, he was holding her - but he didn't want her to run by herself. It wasn't that he thought she wasn't capable of it, he was worried that she might not be as fast as him or Shilah. He had just started to bond with this pup, and he wasn't about to give her up to some pesky humans.

» Promise stuck out her bottom lip. "Fine" she said defeated. "But we better go now. Hes coming" she said and nodded to the truck that was coming this way.

Shilah bounded across the street into the alley she lived in " quick, in here!" she said pointing her ears towards a dumpster

Dagger ran after Shilah with Promise, jumping in the dumpster. He released the pup and glared out the alleyway, watching the truck from where they were.

Shilah released a slight growl as the dog catcher came out of the truck. he looked around a bit, and walked into the alley they were in. Shilah's growl suppressed when he hopped back in his truck. when he drove off, shilah jumped out and said "that was too close"

Dagger let out a sigh as the human drove off. "Humans..." He rolled his eyes and hopped out of the dumpster, helping Promise out as well. Dag sat on the ground by the dumpster. "So...now what?"

" im not sure.." shilah said with a yawn "why don't you go do something with promise?" she finally said laying down for a nap. she was surprised that the brute like him was so good with pups."she seems to really like you"

His ears perked at her idea, then he smiled at her comment. "I like the lil sport, too. She's a good pup." Dag patted the top of Promise's head. "What would you like to do, Promise?"
