The African Plain: The Starvation

In the plains of Africa, animals are starving and fighting for food. Prey has been hunted and poached by humans and even solitary animals are now working together to hunt. You are one of those animals.

Each animal has its own language but animals that are from the same genus have very similar languages and can speak with one another. Some animals can speak more than one language.

Name: Wawindaji (Indaji for short)
Gender: Female
Species: Lion
Pack: Jasiri Pride
Appearance: Light brown fur, dark underbelly that is almost brown and a short tail. She has amber eyes. She is a bit more muscular then other lions.
Personality: When Indaji was growing up, the Jasiri pride was going through a tough time. This made her callous and insensitive to other's needs because she expects them to be as thick skinned as herself. In order to gain respect and for fun she often fights with other lions in the pride. Indaji has a low patience, especially for cubs.
Skills: A excellent hunter, strong
Weaknesses: Not very fast, mean spirited

Species: Cheetah
Pack: Doa Coalition
Appearance: Hatma, unlike other cheetahs, has somewhat dark tan fur. Like other cheetahs, he has black spots and 'tear marks'. His eyes are a very light green and a completely black tail.
Personality: He is very risk-taking and doesn't like making promises because he thinks that he might not be able to keep them. He can be a flirt sometimes, but not often. Hatma is very sarcastic and is also socially awkard at times.
Skills: Hunting and voice impressions.
Weaknesses: He's afraid of Thunder and isn't good at swimming.

Name: Kasuma Rose, but Kass for short.
Gender: Female, of course.
Species: Leopard, seem's obvious.
Pack: None. She's solitary, a lone cat.
Appearance: {Picture above.} Kass is a slim, large female leopard, with a glossy coat, spots, and amber eyes. She has very sharp teeth and claws, and is very muscled and flexible. Her tail is a bit white, as her paws and underbelly.
Personality: Kass isn't really a social butterfly. Actually, she's the exact opposite. She prefers to be alone, and loves to climb, as any leopard. She also loves to run. Kass is the exact opposite of a weak fighter, for she can kill with one blow if she puts herself up too it. She can advantage any bigger predators by climbing, or out-running them in the forest. Kass, since no one really knows her, is known for just being solitary, and having a rough past. Kass, if you do know her, is sharp and very suspicious. Kass has her own special technique on hunting, and will badly injury whatever tries to steal her kill. But if she trusts you, she can be nice and out-going. She's a good swimmer, too.
Skills: Climbing, hunting, battle, and swimming.
Weaknesses: Open, smooth terrain, and her past weakens her to the point of depression for a short period of time.
Mate: None.

(Accepted. Also I decided to remove the preset alliances and all that and just let people roleplay that stuff instead. We can begin now.)

Thump thump thump the mouse's heart beats like a fast paced drum. The sound rings in Indaji's ears as she closes in on the prey, creeping in through the tall grass. It's the first quarry she's spotted in days. Her mouth waters at the thought of sinking her fangs into its juicy flesh. Indaji unsheathes her claws and prepares for the pounce when her hunt comes to an abrupt end. Two lion cubs come running down the hill chasing after eachother. "You'll never catch me!" one shouts "Oh yeah?!" say the other and they begin to playfight. The mouse squeals and darts off in reaction to the commotion. All of my hard work for nothing! Those stupid scoundrels! Somebody needs to teach them a lesson! Indaji thinks. She approaches the cubs, who are completely oblivious to Indaji, with a anger in her step.

Kass made her way through the forest, the leopard's ribs showing from her pelt. She hadn't eaten in days, but knew prey was somewhere. Leaves and brambles curled around her as she tasted the air, flicking her tail. The faint scent of buffalo reeked along the leafy ground.

Kass quickly bounded up a tree, following the scent from branch. She narrowed her eyes and growled silently, her belly gnawing with pain from hunger.

Indaji stood over the cubs, waiting for them to notice her. The one cub felt a presence and glanced up from it's fight. "It's Indaji!" he whispered to his comrade. Suddenly the two where standing up straight, their tails tucked in between their legs in respect of the lioness. "While you two idiots were playing your silly games I was trying to do something productive." she lectured "I was trying to hunt, the first animal I've seen in quite some time, but alas you two interrupted my hunt making me lose a meal. So you know what I want you to do now?" She paused, waiting for a answer. "Hmm? Anybody? Since your incompetent minds can't come up with an answer I'll give you one. You two are going to catch a mouse, a big fat one actually, and if you don't then there will be consequences." Indaji struts off and the two cubs moan in distress, wishing that they had some nicer lionesses in the pride.

Kass travels along the branches, slinking slowly as her jaws open. She scents buffalo, stronger now, and brushes through the leaves, branches cutting into her spotted coat.

Kass stops and recognizes the cry of buffalo. She poked her head from the tree branch and saw buffalo near the river. But they were only about five, skinny to the bone. They were trying to cross, but crocodiles swam in the water, jaws open to devour them.

Kass hissed and climbed down the tree, wincing from her hunger.

Indaji heads to the river to quench her thirst. As she makes her way towards it, mixed scents of various animals fill her nose. She gazes over the plains and spots a leopard, some buffalo and crocodiles. It angered her that another big cat was in the area, because it meant more competition for food. Indaji jumps in the river and swims across, her powerful legs kicking. She avoids the crocodiles, which are preoccupied hunting the buffalo, and the pulls herself ashore. It takes her a moment to catch her breath, and then she chases after the leopard.
