Las Vegas K-9 Unit-Open and Accepting!

Kyle walked into the kitchen and saw Whiskey on the floor. He walked over and sat in front of Whiakwy, patting his lap "your okay- nothing's gonna hurt you."

[Rats.]

Lee grolwed softly but still allowed her to pet him. The growling did'nt stop as she stroked his head. It was just more of a 'happy' growl.

[Dawnsummer]

(Joey, there's no such thing as a happy growl...)

Scarlet pulled her hand back, saying firmly to the growls, "No. No growling."

Whiskey crawled into his lap and immediately calmed down, the shaking stopping as she rested her head against his knee.

Kyle rubbed her head "your okay, nothing's gonna hurt you." Kyle said as he reached over for a toy "what's this Whiskey?" He said softly, squeaking it for her.

Whiskey's head shot up and she leaped out of his lap, crouching and barking at the item. she lunged towards it and grabbed it by her teeth, tugging it excitedly as it squeaked in her grasp.

Kyle smiled and watched her, letting go of the toy for her. Kyle smiled, happy she liked the toys and was willing to play with them. The dogs must get so bored in the kennels with nothing to do- that's why he brought her home.

[Rats.]

Scarlet pulled her hand back, saying firmly to the growls, "No. No growling."

Whiskey chewed and played with the toy, occupied with it completely, tossing it and chasing after it, her tail wagging.

Lee whined softly, looking up at her. His big brown eyes seemed almost black in the light angle he was at. Lee was no beast, just misunderstood.

Scarlet began to pet his head again, talking softly to calm him. She scratched gently behind his ears.
