Brie nodded. "I hope he'll be alright," Brie whispered to Kodiak. Standing, she lifted the pups out of the nest one by one, so they could explore the den.

{Keita}
Keita hipped in excitement, glad to be able to explore. She scrambled across the deer pelt on the floor, tipping with excitement.

{Max}
Max sat on the floor, looking around. He whimpered, wanting to go back into the best where it was safe and warm. He didn't run around like his sister, he simply sat.

I nodded and smiled at Keita. I noticed max sitting alone and tilted my head. I walked over to him and licked Max gently. " Why don't you go play with your brother and sister? " I asked.

I bounded after my sister with a yip of excitement. I jumped on Keita and bowled her over.

Keita barked at her brother. "Hey!" She yipped, wiggling out from under him and bounding away. She went into a play bow, daring him to chase her.

Max looked up at his dad. "I don't want to. It's no fun playing with them; I'm too small," he said, looking down at his paws.
