The Snow White fea stood up, her eyes blurry from sleep. The wolf yawned as she peeked out of her den. She sighed loudly, as she padded it, the autumn sun felt good on her coat. She sneezed softly as she laid down on the ground, her blue eyes tracked the activity of the camp. She sighed laying down on the ground as she sunned herself out.

The black wolf laid still in the shadows of the forest, her coat blending in with them. Her eyes tracked a squirrel a few yards away. A low growl rumbled in her thoart seconds before she pounced. The kill was quick. She lifted her head looking around, the squirrels limp body in her jaws. She sighed, a squirrel wouldn't cover a wolfs hunger, and prey was starting to leave. She frowned softly, she sighed then walking back towards camp. It was fall, time to pick a mate and become pregnant. For her however, she had another goal, which was to survive the winter. She didn't care about mates or pups so much, if she got one, good, if she didn't, also fine. She wasn't a wolf who threw herself at the paws of every males feet. Especially the higher ranks. They were wolves to. She honestly could care less about ranks.

The male wolf sneezed in his sleep. He slept right over the packs border. Not on either side. His paws twitched as he chased a elk in his sleep. For him, a squirrel was plenty, he didn't have a pack to feed. He let out a growl as he continued to dream (sorry WB)

⊱The brute looked over to Rascal when he finished, eyes slightly narrowed but his gaze thoughtful. "I see. Though I doubt they'd leave peacefully, not after all these years." Malik informed him now. "Though I do see your point of things. In the end it's up to Cactus Water." He said, referring to the alpha now.

He lowered his head at her words, nodding in agreement. "I understand Lady
Phoenix. You need someone to stand by your side. And even though wolves will say
that they know how you feel, that they know how hard it is to rule with no one by your
side, and they will say all that. But probably none of them know how truly hard that would
be. I was born by the paws of a hunter and a fighter. Not even lead fighter, or lead hunter.
I never had any power when I was younger. So when I grew up and got lead fighter of
this pack, you wouldn't understand how amazing that was for me. But let me just say,
I have no idea what you are going through. But if you ever need someone to talk too,
about anything. Weather its from something as small as a wolf ticked you off, to as
large as a war is about to break out. I will be here for you when you need me most."

Tilting his head to the side, he gently let out a sigh, feeling as if all the words he had
just said were cheesy, and unorigional. But all of it came from the brute's heart, and
he hoped that Phoenix would see that. It wasnt until that day, that moment, that Spade
realised how much he cared for the alphaess. She was a kind hearted wolf, and Spade
did want to be her friend. Her best friend.

⊱The female listened to his words, audits perked towards him now. It seemed as if she had heard each word before but not specifically in the way he put things, even if it wasn't exactly original. He seemed quite open and honest, in which surprised her enough. She knew he wasn't much of a mean brute and that she could trust him if she ever needed him. Phoenix didnt exactly understand what exactly she had done to help calm him somewhat, but she seemed somewhat proud of it.

You were never too old to learn new things, in which she did everyday. Now it was his turn to tell her something along those lines, she thought what he informed her wasn't enough on what she had given. "I will take your words to heart Spade." She told him after he finished speaking, realizing she may actually have a good friend to rely on that wouldn't say they knew of her troubles and how stressing it could be.

He felt a softness in his heart, almost like a rumble, or a purr, like there was
a light switch that flipped in his chest, filling it with light and warmth. Closing his eyes
and then opining them, he slowly lifted his body up from the slumped position that he was
previously into a standing stance. Shaking the loose dirt from his pelt, the brute slowly
turned, making his backside face Phoenix. Turning his head to look back at her, he made
a half smile, before saying, "Care to join me in hunting? Or do you want to go back to the
pack? Ether way is cool with me. Whatever you want." Spade said.

Taking a step forward, the brute's head was still turned back to look at the alphaess. Spade
secretly was hoping that she would come. It wasnt ever day that a new friendship is blossoming
between him and someone else. In fact, the only ever time he really had a friend was Grace.
And she wasnt a friend. She was a mate. His mate. The thought of her, for the first time in
almost a year, didnt hurt him when he thought of her. Of corse it made him sad, but it didnt
destroy the young wolf, and it didnt make his blood Boil in anger.

⊱The fae watched him get up and turn his back on her. She didnt move from where she was laying mainly because she saw no reason to. When he asked her to join him for a hint, she thought for a moment before looking back to the camp. Brooke could obviously hold things in order while she had some one on one time with Spade couldn't she? She hoped so.

Phoenix stood up, shaking her reddish pelt before she padded up to the brute, following him. "Sure. I see no reason not too. A good hunt would be nice." She informed him, her decision obviously made.

The sun dipped down and kissed his pelt, and the sudden sound of a female's
voice took the brute's attention away from the sun, and then back down to earth.
Turning his head, he smiled, looking at Marlie. "Good morning Lady Marlie!" He
said, a large smile perking up at the corners of his lips.

The brute listened as she talked, and he slowly rose to his feet, Cactus Water's
bushy black tail swaying from side to side as he nodded his head. "Well that
sounds like a lovely idea!" He said with a laugh, his voice booming around
him as he spoke. "Well, this is very unlike you, I must add. But it is nice that
I can have some quality time with some of my pack members. Its is not
every day that I get to talk to them personally."

Smiling, the young wolf started to trot into the woods, his feet making him
bounce right off the ground as he pranced through the woods, almost like
a doe. Springing up and down, and up, and down. Turning his massive
grey head, he checked to make sure that his dear friend was following
him. Indeed she was. Turning back around, he was surpised to find his
face falling tords the ground after a sharp pain came into his foot.

As he lay on the ground, Spade looked down at his paw. It hurt, but there
was no blood there. Taking a look behind him, Spade was embarrassed to
find a rock sticking out of the ground. Of corse. He acted like a pup and
fell over a darn rock. How stupid. Embarrassment filled up Spade like
water would fill up in a clogged sink.

⊱She was highly entertained by his prancing, similar to that of a deer. Though she wasn't expecting him to fall and Phoenix watched him check his paw for something that was obviously not there. The fae held back her laughter for only a few seconds, though when he turned to look at her, his look of embarrassment triggered it.

She had a fit of giggles, yes, giggles. Phoenix wasn't one to soften up and show how much of a female she really was, seeing it as a mere weakness in her mind. The alphaess padded over to him and gently nipped his ear, her laughter dying down after a few seconds. "You okay?" She asked him now, a smile displayed across her muzzle, keeping her from laughing again.

Worry started to sink into his bones as he watched Phoenix make her way
over to him. Flinching slightly as she leaned down, Spade was surpised to find
that she nipped his ear. A sudden idea popped into his head. A crazy idea, but
it was so crazy that the brute had to try it. Feeling his eyes narrow, all of the
embarrassment and asham left his body as he suddendly flipped over and
pranced into the air, landing hard on Phoenix.

The feeling of him knocking her over gave the brute a small adrenilin rush, as
the two of them toppled to the ground. As soon as his body hit the ground again,
Spade was once again back up on his feet, and rushing over to Phoenix. He
needed to get her wile she was still down. Gently, he turned around, making
his backside face her, and he gently sat down on her rib cage. Turning to look
at her, a glimmer of a smile came to his face. "Pinned ya."

⊱She wasn't expecting him to get up so quickly and it took her completely by surprise. Phoenix felt herself hit the ground and she immediately moved to get up but by the time she regained some sense of what was going on, she felt his weight on her chest as she laid on her side. The fae squirmed slightly before she heard his words and basically laughed.

"No fair. You weren't suppose to do that that fast." She said as she continued to try and get him off of her but to no avail. In the position she was in, it would be highly unlikely for her to escape from under him and Phoenix knew this. The fae just laid there, not moving and looking at him with one of her eyes as she let her head rest on the ground.
