Elizabethene could feel her cheeks turning a little rose pink, blushing to the brute's compliment. "But still, thank you. It's been a while since I've sung, it's lovely to hear that somebody enjoyed it." She told him, the warm smile on her face remained. Elizabethene gave the large brute a small, yet assured nod. She hasn't spoken to many of the wolves within her pack, but she was glad that he made her feel a bit more welcomed with that statement. "I know, sir. It's just going to take a bit getting used to." Elizabethene told him with contentment in her voice. She wasn't sure what to speak of next and swished her tail lightly around. "What are you doing out here anyway?" She asked curiously in a respectful tone.

♚ He chuckled at her statement, realizing his complement must've effected her as he spotted blush on her cheeks. When she said it would take some getting used to, he nodded. "Of course, and remember if you need anything, just ask me and I'll be sure to assist you," he said with a bow of his head. When she asked of his whereabouts, he flicked his tail once and sighed. "I don't know, I'm just kind of inspecting the damage of this area.. I want to see if we have to move the pack to better grounds," he said with a shrug. "Everything we had before that fire.. it's all charred now.. and if we want to live comfortably, I don't think this is going to suffice anymore," he said with a small sigh. He didn't want to leave, because this is where he had grown up, but he had to think of what was best for the pack.

Elizabethene nodded to his words. "I do agree; this land must have looked beautiful before the infamous wildfire. Pity that we love things that death can easily touch." The young she-wolf commented, feeling a little bit of sorrow for the land and for Elijah as well. She could sense that he didn't want to leave and it only took a few seconds for the fae to figure out the rest of the puzzle. He grew up here. "I can tell, you do not want to leave, do you? This place must have sentimental values." Elizabethene said with empathy. "Would you like me to help you find a new place for the pack, and when the land returns to it's former state, you can always move us back." She told him with a bright smile.

♚ Elijah frowned and nodded, his ears tilting forward. It was true, the place was a beautiful sight. "Absolutely," he said. "And yes, this place does have special value to me. My family raised me here, and it's..well it's where I first fell in love too," he said with a sad smile. He knew that was personal information but he trusted Elizabeth, even though he had known her for only a short time. When she made the offer to search for a better place, he wagged his tail lightly. "I'd love that," he said with a bright smile. He was especially happy to hear the possibility of moving back as well, from someone else. He couldn't bear the thought of the area never actually recovering.

Elizabethene listened as he explained why this place was special and dear to him. She understood it now, even thought she already guessed it. She felt a bit ashamed; she ran away from the wolves and place that she truly loved to a strange and unknown area, unlike Elijah, who is being forced to move. "She must've been a lucky fae." She simply said, not wanting to intrude his privacy too much. Elizabethene was a curious she-wolf, but she knew her limits. "Lead the way then." She said with a soft laughter. Laughter; a rare thing that was barely heard from her ever since her leaving. His tail wagging only made her smile turn brighter, he looked like an excited pup.

♚ Elijah's eyes widened as she made the comment about his past mate being a lucky fae. "Lucky.. why would she have been lucky to have me," he mumbled under his breath. He was sort of flattered, but didn't so much believe it. He wasn't even able to protect her, why was she blessed to have him? He frowned at the thought before he picked up on her laughter, and he smiled at her. Alright, where are we off to first?" He asked warmly, glancing around the forest behind her to see if there was any place they should check first.

Elizabethene caught his mumble, but decided not to comment on it, sensing that it was bothering him a bit. She didn't want to get off to a bad start; especially with the alpha, so the fae remained silent until he smiled her and asked where they should go forest. She traced his stare to the forest behind her. It has a some of the green color, telling her that it would've been a suitable environment for the pack. "Perhaps the forest that you're looking at? It's a good place to start." She said to the brute, getting up on all four paws and lightly shook her fur free of any dirt that managed to hang onto her tail.
