Arberie shivered in the cold. She had hoped to find an empty den before the storm, but she hadn't. She dug a shallow hole in the snow, letting it drift on top of her, trying to keep herself warm. She knew that snow dens were quite warm, but she hadn't thought to dig one before. She wished she had, instead of searching for a pre-made one.

Loki closed his eyes. No,no,no,no His nose was numbing, but not fast enough. The smell was driving him insane. He didn't know how long he could control himself.

Arberie realized that the wind was blowing snow off her as soon as it began to cover her. She got up and continued walking, the wind whistling in her ears. As she took a step, she felt a weak spot in he snow. Perhaps she had found an empty den! Suddenly filled with strength, she began to dig.
