Christmas cheer

Jace had snatched a packet of candy canes from the store... Sure, it was shoplifting, but it was for a good cause... Sitting down in the alley, he called to all the homeless pups. "Hey guys, I got you food..." He said, looking around. He would bring them blankets, food, and drinks every winter.

[Zzzzzzzzzz]

Jade walked past the ally " hey " she looked at jace

Jace's head snapped up, and he was worried that he had gotten caught. Stepping in front of the pups, he pinned his ears in uncertainty... He would protect the little homeless pups, but he also knew that he could go to the pound for stealing. "Uummm... Hi" he started, eyes alert.

[Zzzzzzzzzz]

Jade " want some money to pay for those candy canes" she smiled.

Jace breathed out a little, relaxing. "I just... They were hungry, and I..." He stopped, looking up at her. "I'm just trying to take care of them." The pitbull stepped aside, revealing the three half-starved pups. A border collie, a german shepard, and an austrailian shepard. Yipping happily, they ran towards Jade, ribs showing. Jace tried to pull them back, worried about how she would react.

[Zzzzzzzzzz]

Jade gasped " that's so sweet of you!" she smiled

The pitbull blushed, sitting down. The puppies swarmed all over Jade, yipping and squealing happily.

Jade " but Coe on let's go pay for those"

Jace laid back his ears. "But then the shop owner will know I stole them, and ill get taken to the pound. Who will take care of them then?" He whispered, pulling the pups close. The cardboard box he found had two blankets in it, and the candy canes were in there... The blankets kept the pups from freezing, but they still got cold... Jace staied out with them all night, every night, making sure they didn't die from the cold.

Jade " well frigure something out and I won't let them take you ever " she smiled " the pups won't feel better if eating stolen food
