Lions of the Savannah(Accepting)

Braith
The smile slips off Braith's face and she rushes to Nyala's smooth white side. "Of course I do! I make friends easily and quickly but I try hard to keep them and I spend lots of time to get to know them. We're a family now." O'hanna means family and family means no one gets left behind"" Braith says and her blue eyes sparkle with unshed tears as she quotes her mother.

Nyala

Nyala turned her muzzle towards Braith and say her eyes were pricked with tears. She couldn't help but move closer to the lioness and lick her forehead softly as if she were a cub. "Don't worry. I won't let anything happen to you, my friends, either." she whispered and nuzzled the lioness. "We are a family."

Braith
Braith puts her head underneath Nyala's white chin and a single tear slides down her cheek and onto her whiskers. It falls softly onto the dust bellow. It's followed by others. "I'm sorry. I'll stop crying soon, I promise." Braith whispers and her voice is broken. She crouches down and hides her face behind her paws.

Braith is a cub at heart...
And mentally.
There's a sad backstory to that.

Nyala

To see her friend-her family-cry was torture to Nyala. It broke her heart. Especially seeing the cheerful and kind-hearted Braith cry. Nyala crouched down beside the lioness and rested her chin on the dust. She curled her tail around the lioness and felt her own tears beginning to form.

Braith

Braith picks her head up and smiles at Nyala. "See, I'm okay!" She says and although she's no longer crying her face is wet with tears and her voice had cracked. Braith stands up. "Hollow's already asleep, so we have to be quiet. But, let's go lay down next to her like we had planned." Braith says in her false happy voice before walking over towards Hollow. She glances back at Nyala and gestures for her to follow.

Nyala

"Wait." Nyala whispered, staying in the crochet position that she was in. She could tell that voice was fake, and that deep down she still felt sorrow from remembering those words. Braith must really trust her if she were to be giving scraps of her history to her. "Are you okay? Don't lie, Braith." The tears still pricked her own eyes at the sight of her friend's stained face.

Braith
"Perfectly fine." Braith whispers as she curls up next to Hollow. Her eyes plead with Nyala. Come lay down. Go to sleep The blue eyes seem to say. Braith's golden paw rests on Hollow's shoulder and she waits for Nyala to come join the pile.

The lioness sighed and padded over to the pile. She yawned loudly and stretched her limbs before curling up with them.
