Kat was around checking the borders, as she did every night. She had to make sure her pack would be safe. She remarked the scent lines and sniffed out any other abnormal scents. Hearing pawsteps, she whipped around, and gave a sigh of relief, as she saw it was just Nao. "You scared me, alpha Nao," the pure white fae chuckled with a swish of her tail. But she dipped her head respectfully, just to tell him that she was teasing.

He smiled softly, lifting his head up and squaring his shoulders. "You haven't found anything on the borders have you?" He asked, tilting his head slightly with his ears pricked forward, his tone was very serious and a bit worried. He didn't like the thought of rouges or a rival pack near his borders.

[mrs lough]

Hearing the alpha's concerned question about the borders, Kat shook her head. "There isn't any abnormal scents," she replied. She turned her head toward the direction of the river, "but there is a young bear cub living in a den just past the river. I don't believe his mother is alive, and I check on him every night when he sleeps," she murmured. Her ears pinned to her head, hoping Nao wasn't upset that she didn't tell him earlier.

He smiled brightly, "How cute." he said happily, he then turned back towards camp, pausing a moment and turning his head to look over his shoulder. "You'll make a wonderful mother someday." He commented, turning his head back around to look ahead, and he began to trot off, back towards camp.

Kat couldn't help but give a bright smile at Nao's reply, and nodded in agreement. She had looked away once he turned around, but looked back over at his compliment. Her white cheeks turned rosy pink, but regardless she was quite tickled at it. She never really got compliments.. "thank you," was her reply once he had left. she then began to push through the bushes to take the shortcut back to camp.

He entered the camp, and halted, staring across the camp at Fox Heart with his head tilted to one side. "What pray tell, are you doing?" He questioned, raising an eyebrow and tilting his head to the other side. "I'm playing with a mouse..." He rolled his eyes at the other brute's response and padded towards him. "You're not a cat, you know that right?" He said teasingly as Fox Heart let the mouse run a few feet away from him before grabbing it again. "Yeah, I know. But, do you know that this is more entertaining than killing them instantly?" He rolled his eyes at the strange brute, and turned and padded towards his den.

Kat had just somersaulted out of the bushes, listening to Fox Heart's and Nao's conversation. She got up and shook her white fur free of leaves and thorns, chuckling at their words. She glanced up to the sky, and seeing the big, white orb in the sky, she sighed. "good night everyone," she murmured, then crawled into her den. from outside, she watched Fox Heart with a questioning smile.

~Fox Heart~
He yawned, getting bored with playing with the mouse, but he wasn't hungry enough to kill it. So he merely watched as it scampered across the clearing, his tail tip twitching a bit. He looked over at Kat, and smiled brightly, he then turned and padded inside his den. Laying down near the entrance on a little mat mad of moss. He kicked his back legs out behind him, so his stomach was on the ground, and he laid his head down on his paws and watched camp.

Kat simply lay there in silence, watching as the trees swayed when a breeze lingered. Her tail was sandwiched in between her chin and her paws, curled up into a ball. Her nose was put to her tail as she closed her eyes, wondering what the next day had in store for them.
