Nevaeh let out a silent sigh and looked at her paws, still a little bloody from the previous incident, which didn't make her feel any better. "So, did you decide what you were going to do? " She asked, not looking at him.

I look at Neveah, folding back my ears. "I've tried to talk the others into letting me. Howl is supposedly letting us have the herbs.." I bark quietly, I wanted the others to live, I understood I had Neveah and my pups on the way but, I felt like I had to do this for the pack.

At his answer, Nevaeh looked over at him out of the corners of her eyes. "You don't look too happy about that..." She said, noticing his body language. It was true. He didn't seem happy that their Alpha wanted him to live. She would have been happy, but now she was a little curious as to why he seemed like he wanted to die.

I look at Neveah, "I feel like I should die for everyone, Neveah.." I tell her quietly and truthfully.

Nevaeh's heart seemed to stop for a moment when he said those words. Instantly, she shot a glance to her belly for a short moment. Her eyes still never met his. "I see...." She said, wriggling her toes a bit. "I would miss you dearly....but if this is your decision...." she paused and bit her lip. sadness in her eyes. "I will respect....and support you...."

My ears fall as I look at the sadness in my mate's eyes, "I would miss you also, Neveah. You do know that, right?" I ask her, she seemed a bit on the edge about something. I felt like I had done or said something to upset her; besides our last words.

Nevaeh perked her ears up. She wondered if she could tell him about what she'd heard. Or ask him if any of it was true. The tip of her tail tapped once on the ground and she sighed then smiled. "Of course, Love." She answered.

I cough a bit to myself, "Did I do something?" I ask her, huffing a bit, trying to get something that was stuck in my throat; out. It finally comes up, more blood. "Shoot.. Again.." I mumble to myself, covering it quickly with my paw.

Nevaeh flattened her ears at his question. "I..." She started then watched him cough up blood. She bit her lip and whined a bit. It seemed that he and Alpha Howl were the worst ones. She didn't want to cause him any more pain....but she'd wanted to know. She wanted the truth and before....it was too late. "Koda, I want to talk to you....I really do....but right now..." she looked around. There were too many dogs around. "I can't." She closed her eyes and sighed. 'I don't want to hurt him....' She thought in her mind then looked at him. "No matter what happens, I love you. Remember that." She said.

I whine, putting my head down my eyes closing as I focus in on life, "Alright, Neveah.." I say quietly. I open my deep brown eyes, "I love you too, Neveah. I always will." I tell her, weakly smiling as I cough, ears falling back in pain.
